A nice hotel with corner suites and great staff. The staff in the restaurant were incredible. There is a good breakfast and lovely food at dinner. The front desk staff were helpful with providing information. It was difficult to walk in this area (our second time here) because of the huge plague of mosquitos that were around. Good shopping close by.

The Palladium is consistently a clean and reasonably priced hotel within walking distance to Shopping, the rambla, and many dining options. The staff is hard working and friendly. We love the breakfast, the pool area, and comfortable beds. They are a great option when coming in and out of Montevideo as they are located closer to the airport than central city hotels AND within reasonable distance to jump to the bus station.

Convenient hotel near buceo area. Walkable, close to restaurant and Montevideo Shopping. Quiet neighborhood. Clean areas and friendly staff. Would recommend and visit again without hesitation.

The property is nice and clean but with very limited transportation venues. Most of the staff,with just a few exceptions, is very efficient and attentive to details, like the Old World hotels of yore. Martin and his assistant Alejandra took care of all our problems, big and small, with utmost discretion and anache The very best part is the daily buffet breakfast which has a great selection of homemade breads, croissants and pastries. Sofia, a very young but enthusiastic cook, prepares dishes like our Italian grandmother's did. Please do not miss her "budin de pan" and "panqueques" with dulce de leche, which are to dye for. The waiters Maxi and Marcos prepared us delicious cafe au lait, worthy of the best Italian coffee houses. For all the above reasons, we highly recommend your stay there.

They offered a good rate so I booked on the Expedia Website, and I only realized that the hotel's reservations staff had cancelled my reservation when I went to check in. At 8 pm the hotel was full and they offered no help at all. Had to start looking for another place to sleep from scratch at that time. Extremely anoying!

We checked in late Monday morning and the staff very friendly. Surprisingly the bed was comfortable but no small washcloth to bath with so using big hand towel. Next morning we had to walk 9 flights of stairs. Today is check out day but received a phone call at 9:30am that they wanted access to the room to do service but I said we are checking out at noon. The gentlemen hung up the phone on me. Someone knocked the door 30mins later to check fire alarm. Power went out as we were packing up our things. Once again 2 elevators are out if service and worker using the 1 functional elevator. Down I go again down 9 flights of stairs with my suitcase. Went back up to my room to get the rest of our things. Staff didn't apologize for the inconvenience. Printer not working to print receipt. He said everthing is paid but we ordered food one day which was charged to our room. We could of left without paying since it wasn't charged, paid in cash. This a buy or beware hotel. We are now staying and Hampton amazing staff and good exactly what I am paying for. Exactly the same as photo

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It was a very relaxing few days. The staff was super friendly and it was great that they even had bikes for their guests to use. My only wish was to be able to use the pool. I believe that I will have to come back later in the summer to be able to use it.

This hotel was out dated but it looks like they are trying to fix it up. They gave us a smoking room when we requested a non smoking room. They said they would change us but never did and we were there for a week. They advertise airport pick up with a fee and we contacted them twice with no response. The pool was dirty. Breakfast was to run till 11 each morning and one morning we were there at 9:30 and they were our of eggs shortly after a server came around and said breakfast was ending because they had a big event at 11. There was no notice at all. Later we were told there was no room service because of an event. It was close to the ocean and mall which were nice.

Palladium is A Great Value for the money
Very nice stay overall, very comfortable king size bed with comfort pillows and comforter....Great, actually excellent area of Montivedo two blocks from the Ocean, five blocks from great shopping mall (Shopping Montivedo)...great restaurants nearby. Breakfast was disappointing, but the larger than normal room as well as the comfort of the room made up for any disappointment of the food. Big and clean bathroom...Staff was pleasant. Internet is Not Good at all. But again, for the value and what we paid was very nice and would stay again. We stayed for a week. The hotel is renovating and due to this, I will give them a pass for the bad internet and any noise as well as a little extra dirt. Building is charming but old....the old is what makes it charming such as the woodwork....
