The hotel is beautiful and elegant. Feels like stepping into a bit of the old world hotels of the past! The room was clean and spacious. The dining and service was excellent. Breakfast is offered on the 25th floor overlooking the port and the city. Stunning! They offered parking indoors which was great because the area is a bit edgy and busy. Overall .. a GREAT stay! Next time we need to stay longer to take advantage of the pool and spa that they offer!

Location was great! Breakfast buffet was very good although some of the staff needs to be friendlier. A few things I didn’t like: can hear the traffic noise sometimes, toilet flushing was so loud that it will wake you up someone uses the toilet at night. But, I still highly recommend this hotel because of its location.

This property has a small casino, and a well rounded spa/fitness center. Avoid the inclusive breafast inclusive breakfast. Dinner/lunch restaurant was good. If you try you can get some incredible meals nearby. The hotel as a whole is a little tired, but still nice.

This is NOT a 4 star property, it is a 2 star at best. The location is in old Montevideo so walkable but not attractive. No bell hop service or concierge and the hotel is quite dated with furniture from the 80’s… ugh.

The room is very out dated, and the reception staff is far from welcoming, something unusual for a Radisson branded hotel. The only thing I'd appreciated was the breakfast at the last floor where the view was amazing. But apart from its geographic advantage, I know there are better options to say in Montevideo with the same price range.

I couldn't write a full account of my experience because it would be too long. But, I would like to say this: Hotel is not fit for anyone with even slight mobility issues. Pool is badly maintained, the amount of clorination is way over the top Receptionists are way too arrogant and vague Avoid rooms below 16 the floor, they are not renovated at all The fruit and veg for breakfast is dangerous to anyone that hasn't developed. Immunity to Montezuma's revenge. Stick to coffee and cooked foods. In general the room service food was awful. I got badly hurt in the hotel and unless you have medical insurance you are out of luck in Uruguay The manager was a pompous twitt. The ones that should be managing the hotel should be the maids, they have the customer care skills the manager sorely lacks.

We were given a great room and we appreciate that. Downtown Montevideo is pretty crummy. It is a long way from the nice part of the city. The hotel staff was wonderful although the restaurant food is terrible. I would not stay here again.

Excelente ubicación enfrente a la plaza independencia y a una cuadra de la entrada a la ciudadela o ciudad vieja, a 600 metros de la playa del gas y la rambla, puedes caminar a todas partes y regresar tranquilo, excelentes opciones de comidas.

Great hotel in a central location
The hotel was central and has a very impressive entrance. The staff are very friendly and professional. The room was really big on the 18th floor with views over the city. The breakfast is very good with lots of choice. The pool area is lovely with a sun deck. The gym is very welll equipped with a running track as well.

Front desk staff unwilling to help store my icepack in the freezer. I ended up checking out 1 hour after checking in. No refund. I travel worldwide and this is first time this happens to me.
