Great location, friendly staff. Room was clean and housekeeping took care of it everyday and on time.

Plus: Nice hotel, rooms are on the small side, but have everything you need. Minus: There is an annoying netflix sticker on the tv screen. Breakfast was pretty disorganized, tables were not reset and also not cleared completely, fruit was from a can, for a four star hotel the breakfast is not really up to standard.

Average property, good for one night stay but in bad conditions. Room was a bit dirty, shower not working properly.

Fair 3* Hotel

Pros: Nice hotel staff, good breakfast, great location.
Cons: The front desk is a little bit run down and should be rennovated
Location: Very close to Punta Carretas Shopping Mall and exquisite restaurants.
The location is great, close to the Punta Carretas Shopping Mall and only few blocks from the beach. Its located close to various nice restaurants. The rooms are specious, bathroom is nice although a little small. A great breakfast awaits you in the morning. The breakfast facilities are fair. Free parking is available at the hotel in the basement or few blocks from the hotel. The hotel staff is very kind and helpful. Its a good place to stay.

Boutique Hotel:Helpful Staff, Lacked Luggage Space

This is a small boutique hotel in Punta Carretas area of Montevideo-nice area. The front façade of hotel has been remodeled to look contemporary but little else. Original rooms must have been updated, but extremely small closet, very little room for storage/luggage. Had hideaway bar/coffee area, which was not needed as breakfast is included---would have preferred more closet space. The below ground breakfast area was OK, but food selection was not appealing. Very small lobby area, only one couch. Very small garage, only small cars fit into elevator that takes you down into parking garage. Bright spot: Helpful staff member named Ruben. Gave us great dining recommendations and assisted us with Internet issues.

Disappointing.

Pros: Despite the above, the reception staff were very helpful and could speak excellent English.
Cons: Make sure what you have sold and what you provide are the same.
Location: Near a shopping centre, but an hours walk to the city centre, the sea water is a murky brown in this area and there's a sex shop at the end of the st.
The transport which I had prearranged through the hotel (US$40) did not arrive until after a phone call reminder. Finally an old van turned up about an hour and a half later. I had booked a 'Deluxe Room with a Garden View'. I was surprised to be show to a room no bigger than a postage stamp and certainly with no garden view. When I queried this, I was informed that 'garden view' was just the name given to the rooms and did not mean that the room would have a view of the garden. Really? I protested about the room and was shown to a much larger room. (As a mature aged female travelling alone, I've found that hotels frequently try and palm me off with their worst room and I'm getting pretty annoyed about this). The day blinds were both very stained all down the front and when I had trouble operating the night blinds (there was a design fault which required you to be at least 2 metres tall to be able to operate them) I was told that I would need to stand on top of the furniture to pull the blinds down. Really? This is supposed to be a four star hotel (not).

Perfect neighborhood for a Hotel

It is my Best standard Hotel In Punta Carretas for several years. Its a low key operación. Convient And perfect.
