Acceptable, far from the town.

Posted Mar 29, 2016
The Hotel is ok, but nothing Special. Its in a Remote reaidential area, far from the town (the 3km is way underestimated). It's about 6km. There is a supermarket close to it but nothing else. If you have a car is fine if not you will need to take a cab every time you want to go somewhere. Nice garden and good breakfast. The internet does not really work.

Nice hotel in an inconvenient location

Posted Jan 20, 2016
Pros: Small hotel with friendly owners
Cons: Bedspreads were torn and could use an update.
Location: Location away from downtown - good for quiet, bad for dining options.
Very comfortable hotel, and the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, comfortable, and very clean, if a bit worn. The breakfast was very good. The only downside is the location - about a 10-minute taxi ride from Ushuaia's downtown area - and there are no good dining options within walking distance.

Nice hotel

Posted Jan 5, 2016
Simple but nice room with a nice bathroom and small balcony. Wifi worked well in my room. Breakfast was good. The hotel is a one hour walk from downtown Ushuaia. The walk is along a main road and there is sidewalk the entire way so it is not difficult and felt safe. A taxi from the airport or downtown was about 78 pesos.

High quality hotel

Posted Nov 20, 2015
Location: Good location near an attractive river, far enough from the centre of town to be quiet although it is within walking distance. Big supermarket close
Campanilla was much better than I was expecting. The staff were both welcoming and helpful. Most striking was the quality of the room furnishings; tiled floors, wood panelled ceiling, high quality, good functioning bathroom, comfortable bed and as a nice additional touch - the embroidered towels!

The room is small especially bathroom but very clean and the decoration is so pretty. Breakfast is fair. Recommended.

Very satisfactory hotel

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: See above.
Cons: The pillows, but these seem to be hard throughout Argentina. It would have been helpful (to me) if the hotel had served dinner.
Location: 3.5 km outside Ushuaia, in a newly developing area close to the coast. Large supermarket nearby, and one restaurant, Mi Vida.
This hotel was fine for me. Comfortable large room, reliable hot water, quiet at night so I was able to have the window open. Safe in the room. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Delightful hotel

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Location: 5km from downtown, but plenty of buses, and quite a nice walk. Supermarket just around the corner.
A lovely spot all round. Nice building, comfortable room, very helpful hosts/staff who clearly genuinely care about the business and their guests. Excellent breakfast. English well spoken by staff.

Very nice B&B for the price.

Posted Jan 30, 2015
Pros: Breakfast included cold cuts, not just pastry. Reasonably priced.
Location: Location is far enough from city-center (about 3 miles) that a cab is required to go anywhere, unless you're a walking fool like me!
This was a pleasant and clean B&B with a friendly atmosphere. The family/staff knew enough English to make up for my shortcomings in Spanish.

Out of town

Posted Dec 28, 2014
Quaint bright pink bed and breakfast environment in a local neighborhood. Short taxi ride from airport. English is spoken but very limited. Some knowledge of Spanish would be very helpful. Ushuaia has dirt roads but compact dirt. Downtown is too far to walk so a taxi is needed. Room looked into neighbor's backyard, however the room was clean but no FRILLS i.e. clock, radio, TV. The breakfast was Continental and it was like sitting in an older home's dining room. It was equivalent to homes built in the 70's with charm.
