This is a great hotel. It's clean. The decorations seem new and stylish. I was only disappointed because the pool hours are published as 6am to 11 pm and the pool does not open until 8am. The pool was pretty cold to swim in. Everything else was wonderful.

I think the hotel needs a little face lift to make it brighter. The breakfast was not tasty. The apple juice is great. Wonderful pillows! Liked the shower. All of the staff were very nice and helpful.

Great stay!
Great overnight stay on the way to Buffalo. Everything was wonderful across the board. Excellent service, room, cleanliness and really great breakfast. Will definitely stop over here again!

Breakfast was very very very limited, the female that was working kitchen was more worried about having to do dishes, then cooking bacon and eggs. Also they "ran out" waffle mix, bagels and had to ask several times for orange juice, because she was lazy, and didn't want to leave the table. She had horrible attitude!

This is a ne of the nicest hotels we’ve been to in a long time. Much larger pool and workout room than you usually get. Very nice breakfast in a cheerful lobby with contemporary furnishings.

Loud!
Not sure what time the quiet hours start but there were people in the lobby that were loud. Finally got fed up and called the front desk around 11:30pm. The front desk attendent was not apologetic but said thry would say something to the people. I think they did say something once but the people were still loud for another hour. If we had not traveled most of the day, i would have asked for a room far from the lobby. The next morning people were being loud starting at 5am! Needless to say we didn't get much sleep

Room was gross, found a payday candybar in our bed on the first night. Bathroom was gross, had someones pubic hair all over the toilet and shower, mentioned it to front desk, they stated a manager would reach out, didnt really need to speak to one, but still none the less, never received a call. The area around the hotel has some good places to eat, but the backside of the facility looks lime a waste dump

Easy access to and around Utica. The staff was exemplary. Problem being the walls weren't very sound proof. You could hear people in the next room, hallways, and the party in the parking lot.. About 3 hours of sleep in a $200.00 room. 🙄

Room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Difficult to find turn since hotel is located behind a Denny’s parking lot. A more prominent, higher sign that is clearly visible from both directions would be helpful! Also, potatoes at breakfast were severely undercooked and guests had to ask that several breakfast items be restocked even though it wasn’t busy. Guessing that hotel may have been short-staffed in this area. Still would return to this property if I stayed in the area again!

On arrival our toilet was plugged up and had to be unclogged. (Don't you think housekeeping would have noticed that when they cleaned the toilet after the last guests?) Breakfast was a bust: no milk, no boiled eggs left. No one was paying attention to restock the breakfast items at 9:00 (breakfast goes until 10:00 am on weekends). TV could not get live channels. The only positive is that the bed was comfortable but those old ratty bedspreads do not instill confidence about their cleanliness. Luckily we bring our own pillows when we travel by car.

The hotel itself was ok. Room could have been cleaner, several hairs in the bathroom. The area surrounding the property is pretty run down with some sketchy neighborhood areas.

The property, including thr room, was clean. Check-in was fast. There was a small issue with the large amount of teens staying overnight because of a baseball tournament nearby and the teens were loud during the night. The on duty clerk had to walk the floors, asking them to be respectful to others. Not enough staff on hand to handle the reoccurring issues; the on-duty clerk may have been a tad bit overwhelmed with handling them (especially with a sold out hotel). Kudos to her for doing an excellent job of handling them. More staff needs to be on hand when there is a large contingent of teens staying in the bldg overnight. Other than that, everything else was top notch for a Hampton Inn.
