Homecoming weekend

Pros: The cleanliness and the polite staff.
Cons: The table in the room was broken and that's how we found it. When we inadvertently leaned on it, it fell over. My husband tried to fix it, no go.
Location: Located on a busy intersection near a hospital and railroad tracks. Not sure what is nearby. We came for Utica College homecoming.
Located on a very busy intersection near railroad tracks. Denny's was convenient but the service was slower than Vermont molasses. I can't really blame the server...just not enough cooks. For homecoming weekend they should have been better prepared.

Room at Rome Quality Inn

Pros: Not much
Cons: Many things, starting with the desk staff who were difficult to understand and not much help with questions asked.
Location: There was a bit of shopping and we were able to get breakfast at Denny's next door, but they had only one waitress on staff on the Friday morning.
We were disappointed with the accomodations, there was dust in the overhead fan in the bathroom and dust around the heating and cooling system. Otherwise it seemed clean.
