Great PlacePosted Feb 15, 2018
Location: The beaches are great. The dining options are very good. Ojochal, a few miles south, has a small French community and some great restaurants.
This is an intimate hotel with only 12 villas. The villas are comfortable and beautifully styled. The view from our ocean view unit was of jungle and the ocean - awesome. There is a great swimming pool which affords the same view. The staff could not have been more attentive and focused on making sure everything was right for us.

A beautiful stay in the JunglePosted Jan 14, 2018
This hotel is situated high in the mountains in the middle of the rainforest. Definitely a great place to stay for anyone looking to be a little secluded. Renting a car is a must as there is nothing around but we drove down to the little town every day to grab coffee, lunch, dinner, whatever. The food at the hotel is also very good and well priced, we ended up eating there quite a bit. Stephen and Youssan were great servers. Very personable and kind. One thing I would say that it would be best to try to initially arrive during the day rather than at night time as the drive can be a little intimadating when done for the first time in the dark. This was a great place and we would most definitely come back! Some suggestions which we loved were to do the ATV tour, go to the whales tail, Dominicale beach (eat at Fuego) and around the hotel Sibu and Los Laureles were very good.

The Perfect GetawayPosted Nov 4, 2017
Oxygen Jungle Villas is the best This as been the best bday ever super relaxing and private yet exciting, this is definitely go to be my “to go villa” when I need a break from the world , so peaceful the staff , service and the atmosphere was breathtaking we enjoyed every minute of our time spent. Staff The staff was so warm, welcoming and personable , The receptionist, servers, waiters, housekeepers, grounds men even the security was just amazing. Rooms Rooms were just as shown in pictures “perfect” Glass all over and was cleaned every day by housekeepers. Food Pretty tasty. Transport If you don’t have a car they can provide a taxi service for you. P.S. Don’t be afraid to go in the town we had fun in Dominical , the beach and local restaurants around the area.

Bliss in the junglePosted Jul 10, 2017
We've stayed at Oxygen for two weeks, and had an incredible time. Having just 12 villas, you never feel like there are too many people around you. And you truly have the feeling of being in the jungle, while having just enough luxury to feel very comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly and willing to do anything to accommodate you. The villas are very clean and beautiful. And the view from the ocean-view villas is breathtaking. We really enjoyed staying in this region and the Oxygen was definitely an highlight of our time here.

Unique jungle hotel with a viewPosted May 26, 2017
Such a cool experience staying in a room with glass walls overlooking the ocean and surrounded by jungle. Very nice staff, great food and relaxing atmosphere. Went at the end of May so be prepared for bugs during the off season. I highly recommend the waterfall rapelling if you go during the off season. The waterfalls are much fuller and way more fun. The drive up to the hotel is a windy and very steep bumpy dirt road so it's a bit of a drive to get back down into the small town. Perfect for those that want more seclusion during their vacation.

Nice hotel not to close to the beachPosted May 2, 2017
Pros: The rooms, the service, the food and pool. The view waas nice but too far away.
Cons: The curtains on the room
Location: Lost of good restaurants and beaches nearby.
Y would like more privacy on the rooms with better curtains or black outs.

Beautiful quite hotelPosted Apr 7, 2017
Location: If you want an adventure I recommend jungle ATV tours located at the bottom of the mountain.
This hotel is located pretty high in the mountain so a 4x4 is required. The room is amazing and beautiful. The hotel in very peaceful and quite. A little too quite for my taste.

Exotic Hotel in the JunglePosted Apr 5, 2017
Pros: The location is exotic and the three sided glass bungalows are exquisite.
Cons: Personnel should make an effort to speak Spanish, the language of the country. Even guests without Spanish can understand, bienvenido, hola, gracias.
Location: Location is sparcely populated. The best activity is going to one of many beaches.
This is a unique hotel in the middle if the Costa Rican Jungle. Rooms are separate bungalows with three completely glassed sides. The surrounding landscape is exquisite......palms, flowers, birds, frogs, butterflies, toucans, and monkeys. One is able to hear the howler monkeys and see the juveniles swinging in the trees. The complex is up hill and completely isolated from surrounding town. The staff is charming and housekeeping excellent. The grounds are beautiful. Down the road is the town of Uvita with multiple beaches for sunning and swimming. It's off the beaten path in the most beautiful way.
