Hotel is AVerage

Pros: The hotel has a shuttle to Beaver Creek. The pool and hot tub were very nice.
Cons: Update and renovate the rooms. The rooms are very small and the sliding glass door in the livingroom leaks alot of cold air into the room.
We had booked a room several weeks in advance. At the last minute we had to arrange to arrive a day early. Although the hotel did accommodate us, they charged us 3 times the nightly rate. We felt this was highway robbery. The rooms are clean, very small, and need major updating. The bedroom has a window to the hallwlay and you hear people coming and going all night long. The hot tub and pool were clean and neat, the television service is very limited to local channels. The front desk staff is not very friendly or helpful.

Great place to stay near Beaver Creek

Reasonable place to stay in Vail valley

Pros: Condos fully outfitted to cook simple meal.
Cons: Update the atrium. Looks dated.
These are older condos just off I-70 at Avon. Our room was recently remodeled and nice. A little cramped in bedroom. Sofa sleeper was next to sliding door and a little cold in the room with only one blanket provided. Single burner stove top, bar sink, microwave and dishwasher with pans, plates and utensils provided. Could cook basic stuff. Bus stop at the property to take you to Beaver Creek. About 3 blocks or short bus ride to Vail bus. Game room, pool and hot tub inside the atrium, but closed at 9:00. After dining out, no opportunity to use them. Atrium area looks straight out of the '80 or 90's.

Perfect location for activites, dining, and shoppi

Walking distance for shopping, dining and activites. Vail and brench Ridge very close. Loved the hotel. Full kitchen was great.

Dishonest booking practice

I booked and paid for a room with this hotel online. When I arrived I was told I had to produce my credit card which is standard, but what is not standard is that I was told they were putting a mandatory $100 hold fee on my credit card. Nowhere on their website does it mention this and as of today, 3 days later, the charge is still on my card. I will never stay here again. Their are other hotels that do not employ this deceptive practice.

Hello, I am sorry that you feel we have been dishonest about our incidental charge. This charge information is listed in the terms and conditions which guests are required agree to when booking. It is also listed on the email confirmations when booking direct. Returning the funds does typically take 3-5 business days. If you still have not received it you will need to check with your bank. We hope that you will reconsider your decision for a future visit.

great location - tired/worn out room

Pros: Great Vietnamese restaurant in lobby. Bus service at door - very convenient.

Location: Skiing at Beaver Creek resort
Very nice staff. Great location. Easy access to the ski area and restaurants. Room was worn out and in need of major remodeling. Mold in bathroom, bouncy floor in entrance way, indicative of rotten sub-floor (presumably from years of having melting snow from ski equipment set there by guests), mattress should have been thrown out a few years ago, extra "bed" not really standard size (some odd, long, skinny pad), room arranged so that the bed is right next to the window facing the atrium - noisy most hours, very strange layout of the room and the complex itself.

Ski vacation to Beaver Creek

Pros: Great location with grocery and places to eat within walking distance.
Location: A full grocery was a block away and provide items to for breakfast so we could eat in the room each day. An Italian restaurant was across the street
This hotel has a great location near Beaver Creek and just down the valley from Vail. The under cover parking came in handy during the recent snow storms. The hotel has an interesting room arrangement that basically gives you two bedroom with a shared bath. The only issue we experienced in three nights was a noisy neighbor in the room above our room. The hotel was able to move us to another room the next day.

Pros: Extremely convenient to have Charter Sports right in the lobby for easy, peasy ski gear rental. Nice staff too.

Location: Ticini Italian restaurant was a GREAT recommendation by the hotel staff. We ate there twice. Fantastico.
Very funky and disjointed physical layout. Not ADA compliant as there are several sets of stairs required to access many rooms; a few are accessible by the two lobby elevators, but our room required managing three sets of stairs on narrow hallways. Rooms have thin walls with little to no sound protection from the family with three kids and two parents screaming at each other. Quiet time begins at 9pm, so lobby staff takes little interest in noise issues until 9pm. Headboard of bedroom is against hallway wall so wake-up call begins at 8am-ish when early skiers begin clomping down the hall in an excited rush for new snow. Extremely convenient to have Charter Sports right in the lobby for easy, peasy ski gear rental. Nice staff too. Concierge was super helpful with things-to-do discussion and ski ticket options. Yes, I'd go back. I know I'm not paying for the HYATT.
