Take the Centennial Express chairlift up to Spruce Saddle Lodge high above Beaver Creek Village.
An iconic venue with awesome scenery any season. Built in 1982, it is one of the original resort structures, and offers spectacular views of Gore Range and Eagle River Valley.
Our group enjoyed some close ups with various birds of prey while attending a function here. I think this is a Barn-Owl... so let's call him... Barney !

Our group enjoyed some close ups with various birds of prey while attending a function here. This one was the ... Owl. There are over 200 species of Owl and he is certainly a specific kind but, alas, I was not paying attention so... let's just call him Fred. He looks like a Fred to me.

#blue #blue Pazzo’s pizza is a great place to grab a beer and a slice of pizza! Thin crust is amazing! Well worth the stop. 😋 #red Took a hike on Beaver Creek Moubtain last weekend. We camped at Red Sandstone in Vail, and then drove to Beaver Creek at 4am to catch the sunrise by the lake. Note: Do not park at the top by the ski lifts- you will be towed even though there are no Love to ski BC

Avon Navajo Statue. Around Avon, CO there are many Navajo statues like this one, but they are all different. #navajo #statue #avoncolorado #colorado #blue #winterwonders Aspen Trees along the Elkhorn Trail at Beaver Creek. #hiking #coloRADo #trees Like a deer caught in our eye sight Great staff and good food! I would recommend going to happy hour, 1500-1800. All beers are $2 and makes a great place to end the day! Great and awesome owner and staff! I highly recommend visiting them for any of your cyclists needs! Hiking the trails of Avon Co. This gondola ride is free and enjoyable. Beware though, it is a short...short ride. My kids enjoyed it and we went around a few times. You can also continue up the mountain for free as well, just tell the workers that you are looking at the place as potential buyers. This is the tip that a resort worker told us, so don’t be intimidated if asked. Worst case scenario is that they say no. Aspens in summertime Cold, cold beer! Delicious fried pickles! Even the “lil’ miss piggy” was great. There was a weird vibe when we went, but it was fine. Some improvements could be made, but overall a good stop. Como la canción mexicana El Rey , que dice así :
Una piedra en camino , me enseño que mi destino , era rodar y rodar . Rockies and the West.
