Boutique Hotel in center of Vail VillagePosted Sep 16, 2015
Pros: The room was absolutely beautiful, and I liked the complimentary snacks. I hate feeling "nickel and dimed". This was very much appreciated!
Cons: The pool is a bit small.
Location: The hotel is centrally located in Vail Village, which is the best part of Vail. Shopping and great restaurants are within easy walking distance.
Was met at reception by some of the friendliest people I ever met. The receptionist, without asking, upgraded me to a recently renovated king size room (had booked a single queen). The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The decor was calming (grays, blues and white) and very classy and elegant. The receptionist walked me to the elevator, showing me key attributes of the hotel (bar/lounge, restaurant, spa) along the way. The room comes with water, soda, apples and nuts that are complimentary. When hotel staff found out I was celebrating a birthday, they sent up a complimentary bottle of bubbly. I felt like a queen and this added to the positive feelings I already had about the hotel. What a classy, elegant thing to do!

Nice hotel-- not great spaPosted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: Customer service outside of the Spa
Location: Vail is just an incredible place. Pepi's and the Left Bank are two places that you must go and eat at!
Hotel was great! Really enjoyable stay and the customer service was impeccable. The Spa was a different story. Terrible Masseur who said they could do a deep tissue massage but could not. The Manicure was also less then spectacular. For the money you paid for it you would assume that it would have been better!

Wonderful Stay at the SebastianPosted Jul 16, 2015
Pros: It felt luxurious, well maintained, and everyone seemed to be happy working there.
Cons: A cafe to get a coffee and pastry or snack during the day would be nice.
Location: The hotel is walking distance from everything in Vail. Very convenient.
For me, first impressions generally spell out what I am going to experience at a hotel: When arriving at the Sebastian we were greeting by very friendly and helpful valet parking staff. The lobby is very nice, wood beamed floor, nice furniture in friendly seating arrangements, wonderful fireplace - overall very impressive. Cozy, but elegant. The staff were excellent. Our room was very nicely furnished and quiet (you don't hear neighbors or hallway noise). Staff would come in each evening and straighten up items (ie. a jacket left on the bed would be folded up, bathroom items neatly arranged on a towel...), freshen a glass container of water, turn down the beds and leave a very nice treat (blond brownie, cookies...) . You could not ask for a better location - right in the middle of town. Everything you need within walking distance. I loved this hotel - would definitely come back and stay at the Sebastian.

Elegant, comfortable, convenientPosted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Comfort, service, facility all excellent.
Cons: I was not a fan of the expresso machine in the room. I would have preferred a regular coffeemaker, which I should add, was provided upon request.
The staff was very welcoming--literally, everyone was polite and accommodating. The facilities are lovely and my room was spacious, elegant and immaculate.

Great location in downtown Vail.Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: It is in great condition and is at a great location in town.
Cons: It was great as is.
Location: it is right in downtown Vail, so access to everything is excellent for the summer. If you are here to ski, this is not a ski - in location.
The hotel is in great shape, in a great location in downtown Vail. It is within walking distance of everything you need. We were there when the weather wasn't so great, but we had a great time in any case, in part due to the hotel's location. The hot tub and pool are heated well, and we were able to relax and enjoy Vail.

The facilities and services were outstanding. The staff was incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Both queen beds were too soft. They were like sleeping in hammocks. I would avoid the on-site restaurant (Leonora). The food was mediocre at best and the prices, even for the location were unreasonably high. Overall, I recommend it and will most likely return.
