About 10 minutes to the city gate, this is a great place to stay outside Siena. Serene and clean.There is breakfast and plenty of parking in the back. There is also a grocery store called Penny within a few minutes' drive.

Place is beautiful. Room was clean and staff were very helpful. Asunta ( the front desk lady) is awesome. Can’t wait to go back.

Overall a great place. Hard Italian bed, but that
Interesting property in the country. You need a car to use. The gps could not find it, even the locals could not but a delivery truck driver knew precisely where it was. Large room, great place. Breakfast was exceptional. Ear Sienna

Ótima opção na Toscana
Descobrimos esse hotel por indicação de amigos. Para quem quer desvendar os roteiros da Toscana de carro é uma excelente opção. Staff super prestativo, especialmente a Frederica, que fica na recepção, e a Sra. Assunta. Ambas super simpáticas, pessoas fofas, digamos assim. Quanto ao hotel, fica dentro de uma área de um convento. Tudo muito tranquilo. Quarto excelente, com mini-bar, amenidades, estrutura, bom café da manhã e uma vista maravilhosa. Foram dias excelentes tanto na região quanto no hotel. Super bem recomendado!

We were very Witherspoon our stay. Nice clean friendly... The showercabin was not so big but that was not a problem for us. We arrived by car. Easy to get to Siena!

Highly recommendable!
The hotel is located in the a village close to Siena. It'a very peaceful place really recommendable for families or any kind of traveller. A wonderful stay worth to visit.

Our stay at the Villa Montarioso was simply wonderful! Even when we find a good deal, we have high expectations and this place managed to exceed them. The views and the surroundings are lovely! The rooms are cozy, modernly furnished and impeccably clean. Wi-Fi connection is flawless. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed. The staff is very helpful and kind. We were on our way to Sardinia so it's a shame we could spend only one night there. Next time we'll make sure to use it as our base for exploring Tuscany and stay longer. It's a perfect spot for cycling. I highly recommend this place!

Cheap hotel in Siena
This is a cheap hotel just out of Siena. You need a car if you visit. Check the reception desk hours as they are very limited and vary from day to day.

Villa Montarioso - very nice hotel
I stayed in the hotel 7 nights. The rooms are very nice and clean. The hotel offers breakfast which has a very decent selection of food. The food is the same every morning and may get a bit boring but it is always fresh and tasty. The staff is very friendly and nice. The location of the hotel is a bit off from the usual touristy path which I liked. The grounds are very green and well taken care of. I would recommend other people to stay in this hotel and would return there myself.

Very nice hotel, but a little boring area
The hotel is very new and extremely well kept, very clean room & excellent toilet facilities. Unfortunately its located in a residential area, so you are totally dependent on having a car if you want to go do something. There is no restaurant in the hotel! so its important to keep in mind.

VIlla Montarioso was a good value, we were disappointed that their internet is no longer in service. Hot water was not available for showers frequently. But, in general, we were pleased with the villa. There are no restaurants close to this villa.

Would have liked to stay another night!!
As a couple travelling with teenage girls and been sharing quite confined spaces, it was fantastic to arrive and have a spacious 2 bedroom family room! The rooms were clean and we had a wonderful outlook from our balcony. The breakfast was great. The young guy at the reception was not only "gorgeous" but also very helpful and obliging. All this and it was a great rate as well! I suppose the only downside would be if you did not have a car (as we did) it is about 10 minutes drive into Siena (stadium parking) and I am not sure about buses etc you would need to enquire about this. But overall highly recommend this hotel!

The one thing missing from an otherwise excellent hotel was the provision of a small bar or sitting out area. Each room has a mini-bar but it would be nice to be able to have somewhere, other than one's room, to relax between a day out sightseeing and going off into Sienna for a meal. Great breakfast!

My family, including daughter 25 and son 22, were very impressed.
The entire place is very charming and clean. A favorite at breakfast was the cappuccino. The window design, with its large sill and louvered and glass doors, was very functional. My grown children liked having a separate room and bathroom, and we kept the adjoining doors to the suite open. It was a wonderful place to stay at a very affordable price. A great bargin.

Great hotel if you have a car...
loved the hotel...very clean and cute with free internet. it's close to everything in toscana if you have a car (plus there is free parking)...would highly recommend a stay here especially for the price.

Far from everything
This was a very nice and confortable hotel, large open spaces, very peaceful. Nice staff and pretty large rooms in comparison to other hotels in Italy. The only negative thing is that it was very far away from everything. It's located in a very NON-touristy area, not much to do nearby except maybe a nice walk around to see the scenery. Unless you have a car to get around, it's not the hotel for you.

We stayed in the annexe in two very nice rooms which were great for the price.They were both spacious,well-decorated,stylish and comfortable with good-sized double beds.The breakfast was really good,a generous variety of breads,meats,cheeses and so on and the coffee was freshly prepared by Assunta who organised the whole thing splendidly and was funny and friendly as well.The hotel is located about 4 miles outside Siena and can be reached by the number 7 bus from the town centre or from the railway station - in fact,the hotel is at the last stop on the route and leaves you with a one minute walk to Reception.The buses go every hour but the last one is about 8 in the evening.Be warned that the hotel is nowhere near Montereggioni!!! Unless you have a car there is nowhere near the hotel to have an evening meal but I would not hesitate to stay at this place again.

Great hotel - one minus
The one negative for me was that there is ZERO sound insulation. We could hear every word of the conversations at the front desk from our room. With that caveat, this was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

Nice hotel just out of Siena
A good hotel, clean and recently renovated. Not ideal if you don't have a car but great if you do. About 10-12 mins into Siena and easy reach of Florence and other Tuscan landmarks. Nothing useful in walking distance from the hotel but eateries a few minutes down the road by car and Siena and Monteriggioni are close enough. Breakfast was the only disappointment, worst of all the hotels we have stayed in this trip. Hotel staff were helpful, can get a bit noisy as the sound insulation is not great.

Es una joya oculta en un pequeño bosque, ideal para descansar y meditar despues de un dia ajetreado. Antes era un seminario por lo que sus espacios estan diseñados para la reflexión. Imperdible!

Struttura pregevole ma poco curata. Camera fredda con riscaldamento disattivato. Checkout molto irritante con rifiuto di eseguirlo pochi minuti prima della partenza per la pretesa di vedere i bagagli alla reception. Mai successo in 40 anni di viaggi in Italia e all’estero.

Immersa nel verde lontano da tutti i rumori veicolari wi-fi ascensore parcheggio senza problemi di rientro a qualsiasi orario disponibilità e gentilezza della signora Federica camere grandi bagni comodi, frigo, l’ Unica pecca il condizionatore non refrigerava bene ... pulizia impeccabile e stanze da nessuna pretesa per il prezzo concorrenziale da ritornarci ad occhi chiusi ... provatelo non ve ne pentirete

Purtroppo la struttura era carente nella pulizia delle stanze e delle parti comuni in generale. La colazione era piuttosto triste, priva di prodotti fatti in casa e servita in un corpo staccato alla zona delle Stanze (quindi si doveva uscire con il giaccone) e la stanza era fredda. Il personale a mio avviso non abituato ad accogliere turisti. All’arrivo non c’erano indicazioni per la reception ed essendo arrivati di sera non capivamo bene dove andare. Stanze grandi ma molto basiche.Si può migliorare.
