My wife and I love its interior design, staff, spa and room. Especially, the owner is always welcoming everyone in the cafeteria in the morning or in the lobby. He introduce his family in the screen board and welcoming people with warm heart.

Pros: Staff was English speaking - this is a family owned Hotel so they take a lot of pride in making their guest stay great.
Location: Great Location - near the main street, grocery store and restaurants.
We had the rooms on the fifth floor - facing the Matterhorn which were great. Unfortunately the weather was cloudy so only seen the Matterhorn for a few minutes each of the 2 days we were there. Huge breakfast is included with the room rate which was a bonus for sure.

Pros: Extremely courteous, friendly and willing to help, English, French and German speaking manager and staff.
Generous three star breakfast buffet. Ski bus to all lifts in front of the hotel. Hotel shuttle for transfers to/from railway station. Occasionally, noise late at night, made by guests at the bar/Jacuzzi/sauna on the first floor.

Adorable, family-owned, centrally located chalet

Pros: Daily European breakfast included; free shuttle to/from the train station; easy access to the cable car; private reservations for sauna and hot tub.
Cons: Bed was soft and comfortable, but it consisted of two separate mattresses, which created a crevice down the middle. It was like sleeping in two beds.
Visiting as a couple, the Hotel Bristol was an excellent starting point for our two nights of skiing and dining in Zermatt. The staff at this family-owned establishment was wonderfully accommodating, helping us learn the lay of the land (it was our first time in Switzerland) and guiding us on ski equipment rentals, the local shuttles, and recommended restaurants and shops nearby. We got a free upgrade to a larger room with a balcony overlooking the town center. The lobby is cozy and welcoming for apres-ski cocktails and snacks, and we were most pleased by the fact that we could reserve the sauna and hot tub for our private use in hour-long blocks -- especially useful for relaxing in the early evening after a day on the slops but before a night out on the town. Guests get a 20% discount from the Slalom Sport ski shop downstairs, where the staff got us geared up in less than 10 minutes, and we were able to buy our lift passes at hotel reception and have the charge billed directly to our room. The hotel is conveniently located along the green ski bus route -- the bus picks up just over the bridge (about half a block away) and is only one stop from the foot of the Matterhorn Express cable car -- or a short eight-minute walk.

We thank you very much for your great feedback. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that you were happy with almost everything. We are usually able to cover that gap in the middle of the two mattresses with an extra layer over the mattresses. Whenever you come back, what we really hope, we will definitly find a solution for that problem.

Pros: Cleanliness, location, views and staff.
Location: Skiing, hiking, and relaxation.
The Hotel Bristol is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. The hotel is modern with a rustic feel. The staff was helpful and courteous. They even made reservations for us at a hotel outside of town. We slept soundly and could not hear any noise from the streets, even though the hotel is located on a corner. The breakfast was great, and the staff knowledgeable on things to do locally. We would stay here again.

Thank you very much for your feedback. The spa was closed for the whole summer season but it is renewed and in use now for the winter season.
