Hotel 'les touristes' : characterful not touristyPosted Aug 5, 2013
A lovely hotel with marvellous views from our bedroom. It is at the bottom of the town, in the original village area away from the modern chalets, about 10 minutes' pleasant walk uphill to the centre. Tea and coffee was available on arrival. Breakfast was good, including some local cheese. Guests chatted to each other - the atmosphere was very friendly, not touristy at all.

BudgethotellPosted Mar 1, 2013
Pros: Vänlig personal
Definitivt inget topphotell, men ett fullt godkänt alternativ för som vill lägga pengarna på något annat.

Great hotel for brief stay for skiingPosted Feb 25, 2013
Pros: Great inexpensive way to stay in Verbier for a ski trip and a staff that will help you get around
Cons: Cramped quarters, adequate for a brief stay
Location: One of the best skiing locations in the world, this hotel is located just a few steps from the bus stop
Hotel manager very helpful in providing local information for transportation, dining, etc. Rooms are cramped but adequate for a brief stay Staff are very helpful and accommodating, providing breakfast upon arrival A great inexpensive way to stay in Verbier for a few days of fantastic skiing

Winter season 2012 - short trip into verbier.Posted Feb 27, 2012
Pros: Charm , simple , old village, peaceful , Ava - owner.
Cons: shared shower /bathroom.
Location: Within the old village of Verbier - great to walk through - like old style Zermatt - churches , boulangierie , bank, bar , bus stop - views to valley.
A great location in Verbier village suitable for travelling singles and couples who dont want the central life of verbier resort . All rooms are small but comfortable with wash basin and shared facilities. Nive locals bar next door . didnt eat here - but do alpine classic - Raclette etc. The breakfast is simple , local and nutricious - with Ava offering great hospitable service throughout . The hotel - pension has plenty of old style charm and the surrounding village , its two churches and walk to the resort ( 15 minutes uphill) is beautiful surrounded by the alpine mountains . For skiers the bus leaves at 8.20 then every 30 miniutes or so . Take your boots , skiis etc and put them in the Medran lockers in resort and change to your walking boots for the stroll back to the hotel - or catch the bus if still running - 6pm . Overall great travellers spot - worth the return winter ski or summer season for MTBs.

Good little room kept clean.Posted Jan 28, 2012
Good room kept clean with nice helpful ladies that take good care of the hotel. One of the first hotels on the right coming up the hill. Easy to spot. Right accross the street from the free bus that can take you into town. A good value for the money.
