We loved our stay at The Pollux, beautiful rooms, great location. A wonderful breakfast was included. We had dinner one night at their downstairs restaurant, delicious traditional Swiss fair. The room was a little warm and the location a little noisy to have the windows open. We would recommend and stay here again.

Zermatt is Magic
Great location in the centre of Zermatt with easy walking access to the railway stations. Staff were helpful and accommodating when asked. The gym and spa facilities looked superb although had little time to use them. The advertised/promoted 'afternoon tea' in the lounge was underwhelming to put it mildly though. Had selected the superior room with a balcony which was wonderful and spacious. Just bring a crash helmet to avoid bumping your head too often, Only joking. A great stay nevertheless. Zermatt our favourite thus far.

Pretty views and lots of space in room! Staff was very nice. Breakfast buffet was super good. Was very convenient to be so close to train station and a few ski lift areas.

The location is excellent. Not far from the train station at all so it was easy to walk to it with our luggage. It was warm when we went and without any air conditioning it was quite warm in the room. We opened window/door which helped some. Room was decent size (for Europe) and everything was very clean. The other parts of the hotel were nice, clean and were decorated nicely. We did not eat at their restaurant, but there were plenty of dining choices all around. Cute town with lots of charm. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Very nice hotel, perfectly located in the heart of Zermatt which is a fantastic place. Close to the train station and many restaurant. It has a nice alpine vibe with a fire place in the bar. Our bedroom had a view of the Matterhorn, very unique.

Lovely hotel, great stylish rooms and friendly helpful staff. Great location in the center of Zermatt. Only minor point was the shower wasnt very powerful but other than that, cannot fault our stay!

The hotel was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, but the restaurant downstairs was very pricey. We ended up eating at other restaurants during our stay.

Hotel Pollux is a terrific option if you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel right on the main street in Zermatt. It's conveniently located to all the shopping and restaurants. The rooms are very clean, but a little on the small side. Amenities, such as bar, sauna and restaurant are all great. Can even buy your ski tickets at the reception desk. The room was hot (can't control the heat), and our room windows were right on the main street, so we heard people coming home from bars at 2am. Try to get a room on the back side of the hotel. It's a bit of a hike to the Zermatt gondola, but there is a bus that stops by the river and is about a 5-7 min walk up. The train station is a 3-4 min walk away, as is the train up to Gondergrat. The funicular is about 7-8 min walk as well.

We absolutely loved the hotel. Charming ambiance that fits so well with the theme of Zermatt. The room was very adequate for a family of 4 with little kids. Great location. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding. The do offer a concierge service if you need pick up from the train station but it’s only a few minutes walking if you don’t have a lot of luggage. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and I would stay there in a future visit.

This os bt far the best place in Zermatt. It has been rin bu the same family since the 1800's they trest you lole family. Very close to shops, bars, 3 min wall to everything. They have a cool ski closet. Spa eith shower's, sauna. Relax room etc. Room views where out of this world and for the price there is literally no plsce in Europe that can match it.
