We arrived at the hotel late, the desk clerk (Libby) was very very helpful as Expedia had my room all messed up. The overall cleanliness of our room was terrible. There were dried blood stains in the corners of the bathroom walls. There was a strange smell that was in the room when we opened the door. Not clean at all.

Not Fancy but Still Comfortable

Posted Sep 18, 2017
Pros: The staff...
Cons: The rooms need an upgrade and the breakfast was very minimal...
Tammy at the night desk was so busy; but she stayed friendly, positive and on top of her game! The place was packed with lines crews, wildlife specialists and many others on the way to help FL. Can't thank them and the staff here enough!!!

Good choice for a quick overnight stay

Posted Sep 18, 2017
We stayed at the Days Inn Valdosta at Rainwater Conference Center after a long day on the road. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. Plenty of gas, shopping, and restaurants in the area. Good choice for a quick overnight stay.

Simply not clean. Outside and in.

Posted Sep 15, 2017
We stayed here one night as evacuees from Hurricanes cane Irma. it was difficult to find available hotels on I-75. The smell of cigarettes hit us 15 feet from the building as we got out of the car. Once we got in the room, the cigarette smell was replaced by a cheap string Odis meant to cover up the years if usage of the building. The carpet was very old and looked so dirty that my wife wore socks the entire time she was there. No bare feet on that carpet. The capper was the cleanliness - or lack of - in the tiny bathroom. Pubic hairs were in the shower. We got up as early as possible and got on the road. I can't think if a single good thing to say about our experience there.

Stay Elsewhere

Moldy smell, brown water out of shower - need I say more? I informed the gal at the desk about these issues and she laughed. Steer clear!

Damp and musty

Posted Sep 7, 2017
Room was extremely damp and musty. Everything felt wet and smelled like mold. Bed sheets were clean, but carpets hadn't been swept in what appeared to be a long time. Convenient parking close to door.

Don't stay there

Posted Jul 16, 2017 on Hotels
I personally would not stay at this hotel under any circumstances. I contacted the office because the people below me were having a party which spilled out into the parking lot from four separate rooms, and was told in a sarcastic manner that they would get "right on it". Needless stay the party went on until about 2 AM. I would've left that hotel and gone somewhere else except that it seems the entire city of Valdosta was booked. The entire room smelled of mold, do to the air-conditioning unit. The pillows on the bed were the square type of pillows that you would find on your grandmother's couch. They were not even normal bed pillows. I was absolutely shocked, I believe especially for the price I was paying that I would be renting temporary accommodations in a decent hotel, instead in my opinion I would received better rest and a nicer accommodation had I slept in my car at the rest area.

Poor A/C

Posted Jul 12, 2017 on Hotels
A/C would not cool during the night. Very uncomfortable. Breakfast was not much but for the price I didn't really expect it to be but the A/C was a big deal. This is south Georgia. I gets hot.
