This place is showing it's age. The rooms are old and need a complete make over and update. Everything is tired looking and the appliances (TV, microwave, and mini fridge) need to be replaced. The channels on the TV are limited and boring. This place is good for a one night stay if you are desperate..

Not a lot. Great hosts but that's where it ends.The room is basic and probably a great base for workers but not for a 70's plus couple holidaying in Canada. Tony's Grill was a throwback to the past. Not very inviting and several items on the menu were not available. Who cannot knock up soup!!!!! The adage "you get what you pay for" is certainly true on this occassion

Bed seemed old and uncomfortable; I booked a room with my pet; was advised to call a few days ahead to confirm the pet; got to our hotel and they said they didn’t know we had a pet. For the price, we won’t stay there again.

There was a lot of mold in the bathroom and the bathroom fan was so clogged with dust it did not work which may be why the mold was growing. The pictures on Expedia seem to be out of date.

This property is poorly maintained. Not often cleaned. The bathroom is one of those that you don't dare touch anything for fear of catching something. The room door did not lock. The safety lock was broken and mostly missing. The beds were very saggy, broken down and worn out. The meal at the attached "CJ's" was half cooked and cold. The locals there were unfriendly.

To the readers I would say, Keep Driving! As a business man I have stayed at many Hotels, Motels, and the like and I would have to say I have never had an experience even close to this. The person at the desk was pleasant enough although caught me off guard with "if you want to use the heat or air conditioner you have to unplug everything else because you will kick the breaker" The place is filthy, unkept, and in overall disrepair inside and out. The restaurant is not much better, and when the cook came out of the back picking his nose as they were bringing my order I just pushed it aside paid the bill & left. Shame on you Sandman Hotel Group! you post a lot of bunk about "Sandman Pure Clean" on your website but have you ever spot checked the establishments that bear your name? I think not! I have a bunch of photos for you, if you need more for your website. To say that I am disgusted with my stay would be a monumental understatement!

The property has lumpy beds. They provide ice buckets but no ice machine. The plug in, in the bathroom did not work. There was no phone...and then we found it disconnected in the nightstand drawer.

Ok I’ll start with the clean bedding and ok shower. But the checkin was ….. well no one was there at the office but a note saying call at this number if you need help….. of course I need help I need a human or something to give me the key. Not any room was ready, no one was there to clean he said and was just like I don’t give a damn. The bedroom baseboard around the bed and no bed were full and I mean it, full of hair and ass hair…. Not ever again ….. I wanted to save money but next time I’ll pay the extra 20$ for a nice clean and good experience as I used to do….. and receive
