Decent Hotel overall

Posted Nov 26, 2016
Pros: Excelent Staff. The Piano Bar is very relaxing. Very serviceable lifts. CLean and Comfortable rooms.
Cons: Maybe a bit of redecorating is in order.
Location: Shopping Centre directly behind the Hotel which is very handy. Plenty of eating places. A Big Park next to the Hotel and plenty of bike rental places.
My Husband and I stayed for 7 nights. The Staff were welcoming and very helpful. The Hotel offers plenty of facilities and the Piano Bar is very relaxing, opening late so handy to have a nightcap. The Lift service is excellent as is the choice of rooms. The hotel would benefit from a little make over but the rooms were clean and comfortable, especially considering the price which is very reasonable. There is a large shopping centre behind the Hotel and it is very reasonably priced so if you forget anything it's not an issue. The downstairs tier is full of eating places and undercover, they are all pleasant enough. The Old Town is roughly a 15 minute walk away and is lovely, the food is wonderful and the little back street restaurants are amazing. There are taxis directly ouside the Hotel and also stationed in the Centre of the Old Town - very handy for the couple of boozy nights we had. There is a fabulous Park right next to the Hotel and plenty of places to hire bikes from. Will definitely be going again.

Well-priced, well run hotel in a central location

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Location: Hotel is conveniently located at the Turia Metro station .. just a few stops from the AVE train station (of about 5 Euros by taxi).
Good-sized room - good bed, clean and nice bathroom. Mini fridge was empty so good for stocking with your own stuff. There is a rooftop pool and terrace with bar (open approx May-early/mid Oct). Hotel is located beside a large shopping mall (Nuevo Centro) with access to all kinds of stores and there are many restaurants/cafeterias with indoor/outdoor seating to take advantage of ... The hotel also offers a daily breakfast buffet for 9 Euros .. had it once .. there was a good and varied selection of items. Coffee was the typical, mediocre machine-generated variety so popular now in hotels. Still a good value for the money. The Expo is a good budget-priced hotel in a central location.

You can't get better value!!

Posted Oct 15, 2016
Location: There's a shopping centre right behind the hotel which has restaurants, shops and a playground. A short bus ride and ur in the centre where everything
The staff were ALL friendly from start to finish and I wish we stayed longer. Was quiet the first night but then got busy (we went in October) but the service never suffered The piano bar is lovely - it's not cheap but if you just want one or two it's perfect. The cleaners are like mice and won't disturb you at all. It's very convenient as it's 2 seconds from the metro and the bus stop is right out side

Good value

I recommend paying the extra fees for a more comfortable room. The difference is minimal if you seek comfort

Excellent Place To Stay

The Hotel Expo is well worth visting. The staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly. The buffet breakfast was extensive and suited all tastes. Being so close to El Corte Ingles, other shops, Valencia's Old Town, the Metro and The Park everything was so accessible. And once you visited the City, just pop to the 11th floor for the pool and the Terrace Bar which provided lovely food and equally lovely views. Again the staff were welcoming and very helpful. If you want to avoid the crowds visit in late Sept/early Oct

Really good value hotel with friendly, helpful staff, which is well located a short distance from the metro and a large shopping mall. It has a nice rooftop pool (and bar and resturant) with fantastic views of the city. The only gripe I had was my room (standard twin) didn't have a safe, although they may be present in higher grade rooms.

Great service, excellent location

Posted Sep 18, 2016
Pros: The rooftop pool and restaurant, the staff, the cleanliness, the foyer area and bars
Cons: Could do with a refit in the room and bathroom
Location: Excellent location, metro outside and near bus routes, right next to the Turia Gardens, short walk to the old town. Cafes and shops next door.
Hotel is right next to Turia Gardens and a short walk to the old town. Metro and buses stop right next to the hotel and it backs onto a shopping centre full of cafes and stores. This all closes down at 10pm so does not cause disturbance in the room. View from the roof is unique and was a lovely place to have dinner or a swim at sunset. Reception area and restaurants were very nice and the staff so helpful and polite. Only thing we could comment on was the tiredness of the furnishings, they have been a bit used but were very clean and comfortable and I expect a refurb would be reflected in the price which was very good. All in all an excellent base to explore this lovely city and to return to at the end of a hot day. Would definitely recommend.
