Overall nice

Posted Apr 21, 2017
Cons: Add a coffee maker
The hotel is nice but not really near much except the beach. You will need to taxi or bus to most sights. No coffee maker in room either. The housekeepers were very noisy in the hall outside our room during siesta.

Easter in Valencia

Posted Apr 16, 2017
Pros: The hotel was first class with everything you would expect from this calibre of accommodation.
Cons: A shame that the hairdryer in our room automatically switched off after about 30 seconds and then you had to wait 2 mins before it started again.
Location: We did not eat in hotel instead we went to local tapas bars which were absolutely brilliant and gave us a much more authentically Spanish experience
Perfect 5 day break in Valencia. The weather could not have been better and the Easter processions which began on Easter Thursday were just spectacular. We really did not expect this - the scale of it was unbelievable. We had been to Valencia before and visited all the sights - which was just as well because as it was Easter a lot of places were not open. The hotel was quite expensive (as expected) so we did the room only option. Our room had a city view which was fine - the pool view rooms were in shade from about 2:00pm onwards so you don't really miss out much. We went out to eat in some of the local tapas places which were fantastic. So pleased we did this instead of eating in the hotel. It felt like we were really experiencing authentic Spanish cuisine. La Guillermo and Casa Montana are highly recommended. Across from the hotel the Hosteleria Vizio is a really good place for breakfast. A quarter of the price that the hotel offers and perfect.

Lovely hotel right on the beach front

Posted Apr 6, 2017
Pros: Very comfortable hotel but everything including the spa was extra.
Cons: The meals could be less pricey and the staff more informative.
Location: Right on the beach. Close to the old town. Excellent metro and tram service/
A good experience. Did not find the staff very knowledgeable or friendly.

Close to the beach

Posted Mar 25, 2017
Came for a conference so I decided to extend my stay for a few days and I ended up staying here for a week. Everything was great and the hotel is close to the beach. However, there's nothing much to do besides that so you may need to take a taxi/bus/metro to get to the city. Breakfast is the same everyday. The hotel staff were very friendly. The pool however is extremely small.

Maintenance required

Posted Mar 13, 2017
Pros: location.
Cons: te sewage system!
Sad to say that for such a beautiful lobby and location, the rooms most of them look tired and old (moved rooms twice) due to the very unpleasant smell coming form the bathroom to be specific, so it was either super heavy non natural smell of flowers, or horrid stench. The management was very kind in offering an excuse, an explanation about it being a chronic problem and offering to move me rooms a third time, which I declined and moved hotel altogether. A real shame as the location is perfect!

Luxury hotel near beach port and good restaurants.

Staff extremely helpful; could do with a proper 2nd restaurant. Only real restaurant was rather expensive. Breakfast was excellent with tremendous choice and daily variety. We much appreciated our east facing balcony.
