The hotel, staff, dinning, all good. The huge and very difficult problem is transportation to and from the hotel. Don't expect much help from google, there's a lot of missinformation that doesn't match with reality. It's sad because the hotel and staff are throgh gems

Overall very happy.
My husband and I stayed for 8 nights while our 11 year old son was at a nearby soccer academy. We chose the hotel because of the location and we were not disappointed. The Reception staff were helpful and we upgraded to a large suite after one night for an additional €40 per night. Suite was really comfortable, but could be improved by including coffee pods for the coffee machine. The addition of USB charging ports would be great if they would consider that too. We only had one plug converter with us, which our son used all the time, but we bought some in a nearby store. Car parking €9 per day, but around the corner is a free car park, so we used that. There were always spaces. Small supermarket and pharmacy, bar and cafe within steps of the hotel. Heron City 4 minute drive, this was great fun and had very nice restaurants and fun activities for the family. We ate dinner on only one evening in the hotel as we had a busy schedule. Dinner was good and inexpensive. Drinks were generous and inexpensive. Service staff were friendly and attentive. Two improvements could be made. The pool area is a bit neglected and the addition of a retractable awning or shade would help with the sauna like heat. Im not an engineer so im not sure exactly what, but it could be improved. A snack bar up there would be good too. Breakfast... this needs a rethink. It just doesn't work. Every morning guests wandered around looking for plates, cutlery, juice, a coffee machine that worked.

I used to like this hotel. It has underground parking and a restaurant on-site. I used to stay there when traveling through on my way to/from the south of Spain. However, this time there was a large group (of bodybuilders) who partied all night. That is not the sort of thing one wants to experience after a long drive and with the next long drive on the very next day.

The positive : this was a very affordable hotel with nice, professional staff. The negative : it's in an industrial area. While the lobby was glitzy, the rooms were relatively shabby, and the facilities were very unimpressive. I would have never guessed this was a four-star hotel. The beautiful common areas and the friendly staff do not make up for the 3-star rooms and facilities.

Exactly what I hoped for and ideal for my trip. A clean, comfortable and friendly space to spend the night. The service from reception and bar was particularly good. The food available was a little disappointing but given that I am vegetarian not entirely unexpected. Prices within the hotel were reasonable and free parking close by after unloading. Overall price very good for the quality. I didn't have time to explore the leisure facilities. There are limited other eating options within walking distance which only matters if the stay was several days. Would definitely use again.

Smart and Modern
This was our first time in this hotel and it certainly is a smart hotel. The room was large and well laid out, and very clean. The bed, however, was not the most comfortable we have slept in. There was a wait of an hour or so for the restaurant to open, not even any coffee being served, so we walked to the Irish bar a few minutes away. We were glad we did, as when we returned and looked at the menu we found that it was really expensive and certainly not for us. Breakfast is €5 for continental and €10 for the cooked option. We chose the continental but were asked to pay €20, which was eventually corrected when we pointed out that we had had only coffee, cereals and toast. We had a peep at the swimming pool and gym - excellent for those who would enjoy those facilities.

The hotel is conveniently located 10 minutes from the airport, and we stayed when we had an overnight layover in Valencia. The night manager was extremely helpful in checking us in quickly, in ordering us a cab, and making sure we were awake for our early flight. I would recommend this as a good airport hotel should you have to stay near VLC

The hotel was nice, had spacious rooms and was very clean. The furnishings were all either new or excellently maintained. Breakfast was simple, but adequate. The surrounding area is an industrial zone, so the perfect hotel if your travelling for business to one of the nearby companies - the traffic to and from the center during peak hours is horrible.

Disappointing, the staff attitude and the service we received was poor. The location of the hotel is only ok if you are travelling north or south and just want to sleep somewhere for the night, it is on what looks like an industrial estate, half finished at that, there are no facilities around the hotel.

Mas Camarena - staying for business
Even though I booked and paid in advance on Hotels.com, I was charged for the room on check in. After I checked my records, I took this up with reception who then refunded the charge. Ultimately not an issue, but didn't make a good first impression on me. Hotel was clean and modern. Dinner was good at the restaurant, with big portion sizes. I was here for business at the nearby science park. Would stay or recommend this hotel for business but might not be the ideal location for tourists. I didn't use the pool or gym so can't comment here. Overall, a pleasant hotel.

Although the hotel is very nice,i would not recommend it as family friendly.More for business stays,as it`s in a business area.Once we got used to the bus,were able to get into the city,with the buses both there & back very reliable.We got a taxi one evening to nearby Heron city but waited over an hour at the taxi rank,to return and ended up walking back to the hotel,as no taxi came to the rank.

Good facilities but horrible location
The hotel itself is nice. Friendly staff and solid facilities. However, the location is awful. It's about 10-12 KM away from the city center. If you have a car, this is a good hotel for you. If you don't. have fun spending 20 euros on a taxi every time you want to get to downtown.

Good choice if you have a car.
Really nice pool in a 4th floor, you should have a car for staying in the hotel, 1km away from a entretainment mall, you get what you pay for.

Convenient location
The Hotel was pleasant, but we arrived on aSunday Evening so the Restaurant was closed for dinner. The room was clean and adequately furnished with easy access to Wi-Fi. As it was a stop-over on the road between the South of Spain and the Channel Tunnel, its location near the Autovia was a major benefit.
