Staff was hit or miss. Our cleaning lady would knock over and over, even if we put the do not disturb sign out (she actually took it off one time and told me not to hang it up once when I opened the door), and if we didn't let her in she would stand outside the door until we left, multiple days in a row. The front desk was helpful, but room service sent us a busboy and didn't give him the wine bottle opener we requested, and he was sweet enough to let us use his personal wine bottle opener and then we found out we were charged to borrow a PERSONAL corkscrew for 30 SECONDS. He deserves an apology from someone.

The staff were really nice and welcoming. They were very helpful. The amenities and hotel was not what I would expect for 5-star. Terrible sound proofing could hear the room next door. The beds were really uncomfortable and felt like sleeping on a rock.

The hotel is almost on the park over the old Turia river that snakes through Valencia but is also close to traffic. Quiet rooms are at the back so no view. This park, Russafa and the old city are walkable from here.

We liked the convenient location. It was a short walk to restaurants, the city centre and Turia Gardens. There was a bus stop for the beach just across the bridge too. There wasn't any thing we could find fault with.

Don't stay SH, if you pay more than £60 per night
We don’t recommend this place at all, if you think it’s 5 star hotel. We were fool to take full board, unfortunately the first lunch we already couldn’t eat, it was way too salty. The manger told its traditional Valencia’s paella, that’s why salty, it’s joke, we had hundred times paella, this is definitely a bad food. Our room is 5016, they had room innovation on 5015. We couldn’t sleep in the morning 7:30, and called to complain, it still not stopped, what a shame to stay in 5 star hotel with nonsense distraction

The hotel was very central a good base to explore the city. The room was lovely and clean and a large bathroom with a walk in shower was wonderful however the room 502 was situated in a corner with no view and very little natural sunlight
