The hotel is located very close to the main shopping area of Valletta, literally only a 20-second walk to arrive into the middle of the shopping street. The staff were consistently excellent during the stay, friendly and offering to assist. Some rooms (included mine) face onto a narrow alley which is a source of noise until past midnight most nights - music from nearby restaurants, places taking in/putting out their street furniture, etc. If you need or prefer total quiet, would suggest to ask for a room away from that side of the building. For me it was ok but I didn't stay the weekend Overall it's a great hotel in an excellent location, would recommend.

Hotel’s position is in unattractive area of Valletta. The street is dark and uninviting with architecture and amenities that are out of place with the city’s historic character. Its design is more like a bland, uninspired business complex. The immediate area did not feel safe. Upon seeing it, I decided not to stay, and happy I went with my instinct.

I liked this property was so close to the main street of Valletta. It was very easy to explore from and have a base to relax. I had a room that overlooked the courtyard so I didn’t experience much noise. The staff were all lovely and very knowledgeable.

Liked rooftop pool, views and friendly reception and bar/restaurant staff. Got room move as too noisy over main street and much better in courtyard room. Liked wee treats, tho maid service bit random in restocking tea etc but it was over Christmas so maybe why!

The Embassy Valetta Hotel could not have been better. The staff were exceptional, helpful, polite and welcoming. The whole place is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated with a welcoming and calm ambience. The food is plentiful and varied, Chef comes round to chat when not busy which was lovely. The views are stunning from the rooftop restaurant which is nestled round the pool. I will travel to Malta next year and would not consider staying anywhere else.

Great location and very helpful staff, with a lovely rooftop pool. The only downside was that on Friday nights there is a lot of noise from restaurants next to the hotel - we requested a quieter room and they were quickly able to accommodate us. But if you're sensitive to noise I'd recommend requesting a quiet room on booking .
