Staff was very friendly. Morning breakfast staff was attentive to all patrons and ensured we had all that we needed.
Will plan to return for another stay later next year. All needed and desired amenities were provided. Porches excellent places to relax and talk. WIFI was very good even down in the dock . Lake appeared to the down 2 to 3 feet from maximum but water at the dock was over 15 feet deep. Enjoyed fishing ...
Very quiet and cleaned. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable.
Very nice and very clean price not bad at all. Rooms just a little bit small.
This property was just enough for what it’s worth.
Shirley and Gary were excellent hosts and made our stay very special. The history and charm of the location made our visit memorable. We plan to return when we are in the area.
Cleanliness. Very important to me and right off the interstate.
This was just a quick overnight stop for us. It is not in a great neighborhood and the lobby/breakfast was not good. But I was pleasantly surprised by the room, which was clean and seemed to have been updated fairly recently. For one night and at the price, it was fine.
ok that's about it
Peek into the local culture at Vance County Historical Museum.
It is located 40 miles from the state capital, Raleigh. A little bit of a journey, but well worth it!
If you don't want to surrender a tonne of cash on your accommodation, you'll be relieved to hear that there are several budget-friendly hotels relatively close by. The Sleep Inn Henderson and the Knights Inn Henderson are some places you should check out.
After being at Vance County Historical Museum have a lovely meal at Flickers Sports Bar & Grill (200 South Garnett Street, Henderson), only 0.1 miles away. Strike up a conversation with some of the locals over beers at Dave's Clubhouse (910 Marrow Drive, Henderson). This bar is also nearby.
