Ideally located, this 1917 heritage home provides easy access to downtown Vancouver, North Shore mountains, Squamish, Whistler and ferries. This gorgeous 4 bed, 2 full bath home is perfect for families or couples travelling together. Original artwork, gas fireplaces, mature gardens, north facing deck and a gourmet kitchen make this the perfect spot to relax as you explore our bustling city and stunning natural spaces. Surrounded by walking trails and close to amenities, it's central yet quiet. This home has a spacious layout to offer comfort for all guests. The 12’ ceilings give a very grand feeling. It has plenty of natural light and is truly a North Vancouver gem. The main level of this home includes 3 bedrooms (one queen & two double beds), one full bath with clawfoot tub, large entertaining kitchen with dining area, and two separate living areas - both with gas fireplaces. The upstairs level (added in 2000), includes the master bedroom with queen bed, one full bathroom (bathtub and shower), as well as a separate office that could be used as a baby's room with a pack 'n play (available upon request). Back deck overlooks beautiful backyard and gardens, over to Grouse Mountain and Mount Fromme. Gas BBQ available for your use. Wifi, TV with basic cable and Netflix, and PS3 provided. Lots of children's games, toys, and DVD's provided. This house would be perfectly suited for a family, a family travelling with extra adults (or kids), or three couples.
Communication with Christa started before we even arrived. She happily helped us with suggestions of places to go to have fun with our kids. The back door was locked upon arrival and they immediately sent somebody over to unlock it. The house itself was beautiful and in fantastic condition. It was fully stocked with pretty much anything we needed from tons of spices for cooking to bath soap. The location was spectacular. High end neighborhood with parks. Close to the mountains for hiking and ski resorts. Close to downtown and the ferry. It made for a great home base for us to venture out from. If I found myself back in Vancouver with the family, I would definitely consider staying here again.
