I'd rather stay somewhere else next time

Cons: Staff/ beds
When I checked into the hotel that evening, I asked if I could move check out time back 1 hour and the staff said, "no you're fine." We had a late flight the next day, so a little less rush in the morning would have been appreciated. The bed in the hotel room was soft in the middle, so to keep from rolling to the center I had to wedge a pillow under my back. The next time I'm in Vancouver, I'll try a different hotel.

Dear Guest, I am sorry to read about your disappointment. Did you ask again Front Desk on the day of departure if they could give you a late check-out? Unfortunately we cannot guarantee late check-outs until the morning of. The reason is we have to clean all the rooms between the departure time @11am and the arrival time @4pm so if all guests check-out late our housekeeping department cannot make it on time. We always do our best to accommodate requests from our guests in house, but we also have to guarantee rooms are ready for the new arrivals. Thank you for your understanding.

Free shuttle to Canada Place. Very nice people. Very good Vietnamese restaurant across the street. Free breakfast at hotel

Nice hotel close to downtown

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Very convenient for public transportation to downtown.. My kids and we enjoyed breakfast too..definitely I suggest this hotel..

Good hotel

Pros: The Hotel was comfortable
Cons: Some of the rooms need better lighting and the carpets need to be replaced. The breakfast area at times was under to get seating and this needs to be
Location: Good access to most facilities
The hotel was probably a little further out from the CBD than expected so needed to use taxis. The Hotel was a base to allow us to explore Vancouver and find all the good shopping

Dear David, I am glad you found the Atrium Inn comfortable and conveniently located. I agree our carpets are old and we are planning on starting to replace them in the fall. Our guests love our Continental Breakfast Buffet and the room can get crowded, but we always open the Pub and let people use it as overflow room. Also the Great Room is available and is just net to the Breakfast Bar. I am looking forward to seeing again soon!

Well the entrance and surrounding areas of the hotel were but once we got to our room facing the traffic what a dive. Spent $295 july long weekend which seemed like a waste of money to me. Highly over priced. For me the icing on the cake was for the very first time staying at a hotel we asked for a late check out and the night person told us we needed to check with them in the morning. We were out late at night why should we have to check with you. We are your guests and need to be treated with more respect than that. Would rate this hotel 6/10. Night staff were very rude.

Served it's purpose

Hotel lobby was very clean. The receptionist Christine was very nice and very helpful. The room was clean but outdated. The carpet was old and in need of replacement. It looks like they have started renovating some areas :-). Mattresses were new and comfortable. The bathroom is very small which was an issue for a family of 4. Served its purpose for just sleeping but if you want to relax in your room, this would not be the place. However it was within 15 minutes to downtown so that was a plus. I did read reviews of the neighborhood not being safe but we found that not to be the case. It was a family neighborhood and there was always people walking to the restaurants and shops around the area, especially in the evening. We felt very safe.

Just the bed was Small for my 6 ' 7 foot son it was the only hotel avaiable in our price range.

Dear Guest, I am sorry your son didn't find our bed comfortable: we do have rooms with King beds and that should have been probably the best choice for him. I hope you enjoyed everything else and plan on coming back to our hotel on your next visit to Vancouver.
