Wonderful Hotel in Vancouver, B.C.

Posted Oct 3, 2015
Pros: It was extremely clean, had wonderful views, and the staff was excellent.
Cons: It needs a restaurant for the guests.
Location: Perfect location for cruise ship travelers.
We only stayed one night at the "Auberge", but it was wonderful. Beautiful suite with fantastic view of harbor and Canada Place. It is very convenient to the cruise ships. The staff is excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Booked a room with a city view. Got a view of a brick wall. Room does not look how it does in the pictures.

Clean, but small!!!

Posted Sep 20, 2015
Pros: Clean
Location: Close to the cruise port and a nice walk along the waterfront to Stanley Park
We had a nice stay but the room was smaller than we would have liked. It was very clean and the staff was very nice and accommodating. It cost more than we would normally pay, but was close to the cruise port so we chose it. We had a problem with the Internet, but someone quickly came to fix it.

Great hotel & close to ship port

Posted Sep 12, 2015
Pros: The hotel staff was extremely helpful in answering our many questions about what to see and how to get around Vancouver.
Location: Excellent location! Just a short walk to the ship, plus there are lots of site-seeing options (buses, hop-on, hop-off buses, etc.) nearby.
This hotel is very nice, with friendly hotel staff. Nice view of the port area and located near everything we needed for touring Vancouver and boarding our ship. Hotel is located reasonably close to Amtrak (Pacific Central) station (just $8 cab ride away).

Cons: A much better breakfast restaurant/room.
Location: Waterfront, restaurants, shopping centres, woman's fashion shopping, convention centre
Easy check-in, clean room, close to waterfront and fashion centre. I would stay there again.

Great hotel!

Posted Aug 18, 2015
We had a great experience at the Auberge! It is an upscale hotel with an included breakfast. The hotel is located in the downtown area so it is extremely convenient to all attractions, shopping and superb restaurants. The rooms were spacious, clean and had nice views of the city/bay. Room service kept everything tidy and included bottled water and chocolates every day! The staff went out of their way to help guests and their suggestions for city attractions and restaurants were spot on. We would especially like to thank Charlotte at the front desk. We had difficulty gaining reservations to one of the best restaurants and she was able to get us in. It was a great meal!

great location but not a "luxury" hotel

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: The location and the spa
Cons: Bigger TV, better décor, the staff was not going out of their way to help. (not like at the Fairmont, which is a similar price)
Location: The location is amazing, downtown, convention centre
The bed was very comfortable, but the room itself was quite dated. The TV was really old/small and the décor was dated. It is a pet peeve, but the wood types/colours were all different. The wood on the kitchen cabinets didn't match the wood on the TV stand which didn't match the wood on the doors. It just felt really busy. Also, the artwork was pretty ugly. Not what I was expecting from a "Luxury" hotel. The hallway carpets on my floor (8) seemed dirty to me, but the room itself was quite clean
