Good price, near the airport.Posted Oct 3, 2015
Pros: Hudsons Pub had very good food, and breakfast in the White Spot was delicious.
Location: About a 15 minute cab ride to UBC... Under $20 with tip.
Our group was looking for an inexpensive hotel for one night near the airport. The Coast delivered on both of those criteria, and we were quite pleased with the overall condition and the two restaurants within feet of the front door.

near airportPosted Oct 1, 2015
Pros: Safe, quiet, free shuttle to airport.
Cons: Pillows when requested. After 3 calls our pillow was delivered.
Location: Excellent restaurants.
Short free shuttle drive to airport. Two EXCELLENT restaurants short walk away- White Spot and Cravings. We recommend both!!! Clean and quiet, but not fancy. Only criticism -- after 3 calls to desk and hours of waiting, we finally received the extra pillow requested.

No as envisioned.Posted Sep 27, 2015
Pros: The location was ok, as in close to the airport, but the neighborhood was less than expected.
Cons: Cleanliness of the room and sheets.
Location: A single restaurant- independent - but perhaps owned by the hotel. No other restaurant in the immediate neighborhood.
This hotel has a nice location; not too far from the Vancouver airport and therefore great after a 12-hour trip. The shuttle pick up was great. The hotel itself was less than expected. I had a King room, which was under sized, but the bathroom was large. That is where the good ends. The room seem to have a light dust all over, the carpet could do with a thorough cleaning and the sheets seemed to be "faded-white". The bathroom, even though large, had no design style. It seemed to be refurbished but without any real updated quality. The tub had rust marks. The staff did not react friendly, although I noticed that it was the opposite with "selected" guests. The hotel has no gym. There is a restaurant next door- not the best- although the staff there are much more friendly. (This writer manages a very large clinical staff in top hospital in Florida and knows quality and expectation of customers.)

Decent hotel for after a flightPosted Sep 25, 2015
Pros: Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Staff were really helpful.
Cons: Free parking
Location: White Spot adjoining the hotel.
I booked this hotel because it was on the way home from the airport, and convenient. I hadn't stayed there before. It's a little awkward to get into the parking lot, because of the road meridian. Little uneasy about the area, but was ok. There is pay parking or you can pay $16/night through hotel, but still the same parking lot. Rooms were good, and booking was correct. Beds were very comfortable and room was clean. Didn't include breakfast, but White Spot is directly beside so very convenient.

Stay and Fly Travelers BEWARE!Posted Sep 24, 2015
Cons: Customer Service
Location: Extremely UNSAFE!
Very disappointing and 'expensive' experience with this hotel. I cannot express strongly enough to READ THE RATINGS before booking into this hotel

Enjoyed hotelPosted Sep 24, 2015
Cons: Only "sort of complaint" all the pillows were too fat or over stuffed. Would have liked it if we had one soft one med and the rest over stuffed.
close to airport, free airport shuttle service 24/7, day staff knew the answer to every question so that we could visit everything we wanted, public buses stopped right at the corner, restaurant staff were very accommodating and food was home like, would definitely stay there again.

New staff so we were not informed of parking rules. We parked in the coast patron parking came out to 100$ ticket . Would never stay there again. Back to holiday inn or radisson where parking is definitely free!
