Close to everything :-)

Had to go to North Vancouver for my Mother's funeral and arrangements. Staff was excellent and very friendly, always said 'hello' when we would walk in.

Pros: overall clean room
Cons: would be better if not offering the breakfast that they did
Location: do not know much
biggest problem hair in bed sheet ,i think they did not change it ,disgusting and i had to go front desk myself to get set of clean linen. thanks

Ok but bad internet connection

This place, along with other same category hotels like Best Western and North Vancouver, is situated at a convenient location at Capilano and Maine Dr. We picked this one out of the others after checking out the reviews. The hotel room itself is as expected for a two star hotel. It is clean and comfortable. Our room was on the first floor. We were able to park our car within or reach, just right outside our room. The breskfast has hot items like scrambled eggs and sausage. There was also a waffle machine. The Danish pastries were surprisely light and delicious! So in general it is ok, except for one thing - the Wifi ... connection was very slow and poor the first night we arrived there. We called the front desk. They said they would reset the internet but that did not help at all. The only time I could get continuous connection was the next morning, for about an hour, then no more after that. I guess that's the time when the hotel guests were having breakfast and getting ready to check out. Since our phones' data plan don't follow us from the US to Canada, we rely on the internet to get access to the web and connect with others. We're disappointed the hotel can't help on this. We won't come back to stay here next time. For additional $20 - $30 we can stay in Holiday Inn. It us further away but at least we can count on them for a good internet connection, plus a more comfortable stay also.

Pros: Mainly its location.
Cons: Replacement of sink
Location: Excellent for our needs
The carpet, on first impression, wasn't the nicest. Also we had a problem with the sink stopper. Otherwise clean and comfortable. Also, the sink needs replacement.

Stay in motel area of North Vancouver

Housekeeping is uneven. Had used mug in sink (was going to clean after), and found it back on the paper doily unwashed. Would've expected it replaced instead. Smokers allowed to smoke in the courtyard, which made mornings unpleasant. Walls are thin, so expect to hear some noise from neighbours or busy road. Bedding was comfortable.
