Very reasonable place to stay in Vancouver, WA

Pros: Nice Staff, full Breakfast & Free Wifi
Cons: 8 of the included TV Channels were not blank (unavailable)... some of them were important for travelers.
Location: Great next to Hwy 5 On & Off ramps and only 8 min to downtown Portland (by car) via Hwy 5.
This Comfort Inn maybe a bit warn down though it still is probably the best deal for your $ in the Vancouver, WA area. Elevator is small and bit old, though if nobody else is using it, its actually very fast. The location of this hotel is GREAT having Hwy N & S on & off ramps around the corner (couple blocks) and not much noise from the roads due to other buildings nearby. There is a Black Anges Steak Restaurant as part of the same parking lot though to be honest, I did not visit it on this trip. Breakfast is very complete just a bit strange since its served in such a LONG room, so food & drink is spread out so much it causes some traffic w/ other guest walking back & forth in room carrying food, etc. Nice Staff.

great for the price

Pros: close to our convention we were attending and easy close to food.
Cons: bedding decor. dark brown outdated sheets on bed. feels very 1970's
Location: great location
breakfast bar was updated from last year. very pleasant. hotel staff very nice and accommodating. rooms feel very outdated with 70's colours.

Excellent free breakfast

Everything was great except when I booked this it said there was a swimming pool we were all prepared to swim. It didn’t say it was only an outdoor pool!!! We weren’t happy about that!!!!

Lots of Restaurants

Pros: Very clean and modern
Cons: Lights could be brighter in the room.
Good, modern and comfortable hotel right in the middle of town. Plenty of choices for restaurants and easy access to I-5 Staff was friendly and helpful, elevator to upper floors. There's even a steakhouse about 200 yards from the front entrance.

Location: I was at a convention at the hilton
The breakfast was very good, and the bed was comfortable.

The first room they assigned us was VERY smoky. Interestingly, we signed a 'no smoking' policy when we first arrived. Evidently, they still have some old carpets, drapes or furnishings that have retained the smell. However, they did assign us a different room with no problem and it was a bit better. The desk clerk was very apologetic and helpful.
