Crystals B&B
Crystals B&B is the best place we have ever stayed on over 50 years of traveling. Perfectly clean and inviting, Crystal met us at the door with hospitality and helped make reservations on many of our local outings including a ferry trip to Victoria. Her breakfast meals were wonderful and based on our dietary needs. Evening wine on the patio with a view of downtown Vancouver was an extra treat. Our suite was unbelievable, clean and loaded with everything we needed. Thank you Crystal for a wonderful vacation. God bless!

It is beautiful in a great part of town. Crystals B&B is ao friendly such great service ahe makes excellent food really goes above and beyond and the romance package in amazing. Highly recommend.

Crystal and her husband were wonderful hosts. They were charming, friendly and accommodating. She made me a delicious breakfast. I had a lovely quiet room. I was travelling alone and felt very safe. I would defiantly stay there again.

Crystal's View is exactly as such. A beautiful view with adoring hosts. Crystal and Jon are exquisite home makers that share their home with the best of the best. The suite we had was perfect for us . It was spacious , comfortable in every way with the beautiful view from the balcoby. The skyline at night was mesmerizing. Thank you so much Crystal and Jon for making our stay in Vancouver all we hoped it would be. We stayed 3 nights August 25th-29, 2022.

Fall getaway in North Vancouver
Crystal was a gracious and generous host. Crystal upgraded our room to larger suite which included a lovely balcony with views of the harbour and Vancouver in the distance. The weather was so fine in October that we could sit and bask in the sun. Crystal provided us with endless pots of tea and home baked goods in addition to the delicious and filling breakfasts. The views from the breakfast table were spectacular. The neighbourhood is peaceful and charming, guest area of the B&B spacious, and the room very quiet in addition to immaculately clean. We were visiting family in North Van and will book with Crystal's View for our future trips.

Wonderful stay

Exceptional experience!
It was an excellent experience! The room was beautiful, cozy, spacious and very comfortable. Crystal was an amazing host - very caring. She provided useful tips (and discount codes for the most popular entertainments), and entertained me with her stories (so it made my stay even nicer - felt a bit like at home or with a good friend! :)). Breakfasts prepared by Crystal were delicious - almost all homemade!! I'm very happy I decided to stay with Crystal and Jon, instead of booking a hotel.

Try it if you want to explore the north shore
This is my first time staying at this type of special home stay like hotel. I also chose to stay at Crystal’s because I wanted to try our living in North Vancouver. The other major reason is that I might be able to get some valuable info about North Vancouver from Crystal and her husband John. As expected, Crystal and John are genuinely nice hosts. My room is very nicely decorated and I love the mattress. I always have a hard time getting over jet lag when I travel to North America from Hong Kong. I guess it’s because of the nice mattress at Crystal’s, I was able to have a real deep sleep. The breakfast Crystal made everyday was very yummy and nutritious. Everyday breakfast was different. Talking to both Crystal and John was so great!!! I will stay there again when I return to BC next time.

Warm welcome in a beautiful home
Crystal and John are wonderful hosts, very solicitous and helpful, friendly and warm. The house is beautifully kept with a serene, flower-filled garden patio: a balcony with a nice view of the Van City skyline; and easy access to the major highways and attractions like Capilano and Grouse Mountain. Several really good ethnic restaurants were within a five minute drive. North Vancouver is a cinch to navigate and parking is not an issue. Whistler is a fun.90-minute drive with stunning ocean and mountain views asking the way. We appreciated the freshly baked cookies waiting in our room when we arrived, along with "local knowledge" recommendations and advice. Vegetarian-friendly breakfasts were absolutely delicious - possibly the best quiche and omelet I've ever had. The room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and a large whirlpool tub.

Home away from Home!
Excellent stay! Very homelike, with Crystal and her husband John taking care of all your needs, with extreme kindness. Breakfasts were all homemade with farm fresh ingredients. Bed was extremely comfortable, unlike hotel beds. All furnishings and interior decor were high quality and attractive, yet comfortable feeling.

The owners are the unique and greatest feature of this luxurious B&B! Crystal and John are warm, helpful, available at any time while giving their guests space. This is truly a magnificent home away from home with splendid features -- excellent bed, breathtaking view from private balconies, spacious bathroom with Jacuzzi, wonderful substantial homemade breakfasts. The host leaves homemade cookies in the room, turns down the bed and provides clean sheets and towels daily, offers advice when asked regarding local attractions and transportation and restaurants, phones for taxis and other information. Cannot recommend Crystal's View too highly. Guests are pampered and made to feel right at home!

Wonderful & delightful place to stay. Not only is the accommodation lovely and very comfortable, we very much enjoyed visiting with Crystal & John and the other guests over delicious breakfasts prepared fresh each morning by Crystal. Crystal was so welcoming. Crystal actually stood outside with her phone to assist us with locating the property as our GPS wasn't working. My husband and I had an absolutely lovely experience. She also purchased food items that she thought we would like. One of the best experiences we have had during our many vacations.

An unforgettable trip!
It was such a wonderful experience staying in Crystal's luxury home, and her hospitality and local trips advices(the fire work dinner cruise, the whale watching tour, the whistler tour and the dining in the sky experience) made our trip unforgettable! Crystal's husband John is a wonderful gentleman who always drove us around with his brand new Mercedes E300! She made a wonderful farewell dinner with his family and us, we are now friends hope we can entertain them when they visit Hong Kong next time.

Crystal was very welcoming and went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our time in Vancouver. She made dinner reservations for us, got us discounted admissions to local sights. She is a fantastic cook, and the breakfast was delicious. Our room had a separate entrance, so we had privacy from other guests. Very clean accommodations.

Lovely bed & breakfast with awesome view
This is a terrific bed & breakfast, perched on a hill in North Vancouver overlooking the harbor and downtown. The house and rooms are in beautifully kept, and Crystal and John are lovely hosts. Crystal made us a hearty, delicious breakfast every morning: eggs/omelet/quiche, fresh fruit, toast or muffins. Highly recommended.

Private B&B in North Vancouver
It was a very nice B&B but in a private home so I felt we were imposing on the couple that lives there. Our hostess was wonderfully enthusiastic with dinner recommendations and reservations. We had their smallest room and it was cramped. No one else was there so I would have moved us to the room with a balcony but that is just me. Breakfast was fine and the views were incredible. We were in North Vancouver for a car show and the area was lovely. Again it felt a bit awkward since this is really a private home...we used the public balcony for a class of wine and to look at the view but they were inside in their living room and again it felt awkward.

A Special Place
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! We stayed in the Vivaldi Suite for three nights. The room was comfortable, clean, with a private balcony, beautiful views, and a luxurious private bathroom with a spa tub. The hosts Crystal and John are so lovely and warm - they treat everyone like family! We can't wait to go back!!!

My stay in Crystal's View
Really enjoyed the warm hospitality! Crystal & John are very nice couple and extremely helpful to us who traveled to Vancouver the first time. The room was well decorated and clean, and of course the different styles of breakfast served in the morning was wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend my friends who plan to visit Vancouver and want to stay away from the downtown/busy areas and be relaxed.

Very warm welcome and great room
The host is a lady, she cook breakfast for us. The breakfast is fantastic, including appetizer, fresh squeezed juice and entree. I can taste the love from breakfast!

Amazing place!!
Crystal is such a beautiful person!! I have really enjoyed staying at her gorgeous place!! The views from this house are spectacular, you can see the city and bridge. Crystal makes you feel right at home and is so loving and truly you can tell she enjoys having guest stay here. I will definitely be back !!

Nice place incredible view of downtown Vancouverr
I stayed here for one night with my wife and the room is very warm and comfortable. The hostess is very nice. Since we need to leave earlier in the morning, she got up so early and made us an unforgettably delicious breakfast. Of course the view is also wonderful. I would definitely book this place again!

Home away from home
We stayed in the Vivaldi Suite. Everything is exactly as described. The room is clean, comfortable and has a private balcony that offers fantastic city view (see attached picture). The roomy bathroom has a big jacuzzi tub as well as a shower stall. In addition to the Vivaldi Suite, Crystal's entire house is tastefully decorated. The garden is lovely as well. The home reflects Crystal's artistic thoughts as well as the love in her family. However, what really made our stay memorable was Crystal and John's hospitality. They made us feel like family. Crystal offered many useful tips on what to see and do in the city, she even packed us fruits and yummy home made muffins as snack every day. She also made an exception for our small guest, and we are grateful for her flexibility. Our stay in Vancouver was during a very busy weekend, so we actually had to stay in another B&B for our final night in Vancouver. The other B&B, while also highly rated by reviewers, was no where in comparison to Crystal's lovely place. If we ever decide to stay in a Vancouver B&B again, we will definitely come back to visit Crystal and John. Their impeccable service and warmth made us feel right at home.
