Came into Vancouver for Christmas shopping. The location made it very relaxing and the room was quiet and comfortable. Made shopping an absolute pleasure with no stress

Nice hotel. Close to transit, major shopping etc.

Pros: Proximity to sky train.
Cons: Pancakes at breakfast were something other than pancakes; hard to explain.
Location: Close to transit, shopping and a pub
They only had one wine glass to lend us upon check in and never made an effort to get us another. The king bed was nice, but the room was too small to accommodate the bed.

Solid value, good staff, complicated location

This is a well-maintained, comfortable hotel with an excellent, helpful staff. The only real drawback is the location -- a mall -- in a part of town that is now so busy that logistics are challenging. But with a little advance preparation -- planning your route, etc -- it's manageable.

A pleasant surprise

Pros: The amenities, staff, bed, plenty of towels, free parking, wifi, iron and ironing board in room,
Cons: The awful eggs at breakfast, lame "gym" with one pulley machine, no water bottles in fridge.
Location: There is a mall, starbucks and tim hortons next door.
This hotel was better than I thought it was going to be. The rooms are spacious and modern. A few of the outlets did not work and there is an incessant noise from the traffic and rail next to the windows but it is located right on the road. The staff was overall quite helpful. There was a younger Asian male who worked in the breakfast buffet that didn't seem to have a clue. Also in there was a younger short Asian female that was quite helpful in all areas. The carpet seemed to be in need of replacement but the beds were nice and comfortable. If you've forgotten your amenities such as a toothbrush or razor the staff has them at the check in. The breakfast buffet is both good and bad. The eggs are horrible, fake powdered eggs (omelettes too). I didn't care for the sausages either or the machine made pancakes. There is cereal and oatmeal that seemed to be okay along with fresh fruit. It is nice that there is fresh coffee and assorted pastries/muffins. I just wish the buffet stayed open later or had a lunch service. Towels are big and abundant and so was the coffee. I would stay here again.

Great service, great location.

The staff at this hotel were exceptional. They provided us with a breakfast to go - as we had to leave very early on the final day. They also were prompt and efficient when we got to the nearby sky train and had to come back to the hotel in a rush...the skytrains were not running til later that day - it was Thanksgiving! The staff member (i think his name was Ian) got a taxi right away and we made our connection by the skin of our teeth, thanks to him! The breakfast is great - lots and lots of choices.

Very helpful staff, great breakfast

Location: The adjoining mall is massive and has everything including grocery stores.
Easy walk to SkyTrain & a mega(!) mall. Rooms near the front may have a bit of SkyTrain noise, but that's unavoidable. Free white noise (no screeching or clanking). Nothing out of the average for a large modern city. Desk staff was able to help with eating recommendations & printing boarding passes, and was very friendly. Great breakfast spread, plus Subway and Tim Horton's next door (and Rexall drugs if you have a cold). Room had a fridge & microwave, and both worked fine. Free underground parking. Everything about this place is convenient. Would absolutely stay here again.

Nice hotel close to amenities.

This was a nice place to stay, but construction and proximity to the skytrain made for a noisy room. The pool is outdoors, and the room was nice but there were limited price options. The breakfast room had a nice variety of food. It was also close to coffee, restaurants and shopping.
