Hooper Hill Guest House

Adults-only cabin in Washougal with spa tub
Hooper Hill Guest House sits on 10 incredible acres in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. Ivan has designed and built a place with a rustic cabin feel on the outside, with a lodge feel on the inside. The large chef's kitchen and the open layout lends itself to gatherings; the private location lends itself to romantic getaways. Enjoy the view from the treehouse of the Columbia River, Portland, and the Coastal mountains, and watch one of the SPECTACULAR sunsets. Natural grass stage and amphitheater seating for 100+ Sleeps up to 14 people (200+ camping for special events) The house is an open layout with no room dividers; a welcoming gathering space. THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR A FRAT PARTY!!! Underage drinking will be reported. When I bought this place, it was literally a junkyard, with dozens of rusted out cars spread around everywhere. I've spent the last 20 years cleaning it up in my spare time, and with my spare cash. This is my favorite place in the world. I want you to feel that way when you are here too. If you don't see something you might want, feel free to ask me any questions. Ivan PS: Check us out on social media (search Hooper Hill), give us a review, and a like, and tag us in your pictures…

5/5 Excellent

Awesome place
Really beautiful home. Views are terrific. Big lovely kitchen. Host was really nice and helpful. We had ten guys stay here and it was awesome.

2/5 Poor

Lack of communication all around
I'm not going to say that I'm innocent here, but there is absolutely information missing here. This is not a good place for events. I would never rent a space where the homeowner lives 20 feet from the house. It seems out of town, but there is no mention of the 9 PM - 8 AM absolute quiet hours. I understand the the problems here, but it doesn't change the fact that Ivan is very difficult to deal with. I would not recommend this property. He should not have this listed as an event space.

5/5 Excellent

Stunning Property with Amazing View!
Ivan’s home was the perfect getaway oasis for our girls weekend! The kitchen and yard and perfect for larger groups and the views are incredible.

5/5 Excellent

Amazing cabin
Excellent cabin to have a get together with friends. Lots of space for everyone with open floor plan.

4/5 Good

So close to Portland but away from it all!
Spent some much needed girls time here for 2 days. Ivan was a gracious host and toured us upon arrival. Hot tub, the view, the privacy all pure bliss. The house is so well done and has everything you need to stay cozied up for a couple days. Already planning our next stay!
