Very intimate hotel. The front desk pays attention to all whom pass the front door. Very attentive and warm staff. Great sound insulation, no street noise or noise from other rooms. Parking is convenient in the building. Lovely location for reaching all parts of downtown. Really enjoyed stay and plan to return.

Beautiful room,very quiet.Central downtown location,easy to skytrainand Roger’s Arena as we were going to a Canucks game. Breakfast was delicious is a cool environment..very French.

We had a wonderful stay at L'Hermitage. Just a quick weekend trip into the city for us. The weather was great and we were so appreciative of being upgraded! Really a luxurious night away for us, thank you!

This was our 7th visit to Vancouver but our first time staying at L'Hermitage but certainly won't be our last. This property will be our go to whenever we visit the City. Carmen on reception was wonderful, very attentive and was so kind to upgrade us to a lovely suite for our 3 night stay. We only dined in the hotel at breakfast but the food and service were great. Location of the property was ideal for us, bars and restaurants on your doorstep and literally a 10 minute walk to Rogers Arena. Parking was really good value for money and secure. I give this property 10 out of 10

This hotel is rated 4*, but it has a 5* feel to it, particularly when the staff are considered...they were friendly, nearly always smiling, but above all, they remembered my name and would address me by name even when just passing by in the corridors. That makes the hotel a very comfortable place to stay. I have stayed in literally dozens of leading Vancouver hotels and L'Hermitage is as good as any...and much more reasonable in price. The biggest drawback is the restaurant menu, which is relatively limited. But it's a smallish hotel, so that's understandable. I had four meals there on this trip, and found all my choices very good and nicely presented. In summary, a 4* hotel but clearly deserves a 5* recommendation.

The staff for this hotel are probably the nicest I’ve ever encountered. Rooms were beautiful. Jacuzzi & pool were really nice. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

We loved this hotel! Comfortable furniture and lots of windows in our suite, plus a big terrace. Friendly and helpful staff. Within walking distance, even for us older folk, of some great restaurants. The hotel restaurant is set up for a beautiful, intimate dining experience. The menu is not extensive, but the food is very good. Service was excellent both in the restaurant and for room service. We did not try the related coffee shop next door. We will definitely book this hotel again.

I don’t usually stay at hotels in Vancouver since I am from here - but my husband and I booked it for our wedding weekend. The staff are so lovely and genuinely kind. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. The hotel was in a perfect tucked away location near lots of shopping and dining options and the restaurant, Lorangerie, was very good and not overpriced as is often the case at hotels in Vancouver. Overall L’hermitage feels very cosy and welcoming, like a home away from home. Very happy I booked it instead of one of the larger chain hotels!

Very little to fault from this hotel or the staff. Big clean rooms that could comfortably absorb three suitcases worth of clothing. Nice hot tub and pool area. Only real observation would be could slippers be included in the room with the robe.
