Very convenient hotel

Pros: I liked the office desk and chair and the cleanliness of the room. It smelled clean!
Cons: Add a bar/restaurant.
Location: Didn't have time to walk around the neighborhood, but from the drive in via shuttle, didn't see anything I would like to go and see.
This LaQuiinta ((only one in Canada, I learned) was very conveniently close to the airport, about a 10 minute drive by cab or shuttle. The shuttle does not start until 6 am, so if you're planning on a 7 am flight you'll need to take a taxi. The room was very clean and comfortable with office chair and desk to set up your laptop with lots of plugs and connections. The front desk was very helpful in arranging a taxi for me at 4:45 am which arrived on time. The pool and hot tub was up and running and looked inviting, although I didn't have time to use it. My only complaint of the facility was that there was no restaurant or bar in the hotel. It is located in the heart of Chinatown (Richmond suburb of Vancouver) and there are lots of Asian restaurants available nearby. My niece and boyfriend picked me up and took me to a nearby regular restaurant.

Good place for an overnight stay.

Pros: Location was good.
Cons: Linens are starting to show their age.
Location: Located in Richmond BC. Lots to do in the area
Stayed overnight at La Quinta before flying out. I was flying to China and needed an overnight hotel.

Great location, great value

Easy to get to from the freeway and free parking. Quick access to Vancouver. Breakfast had a good variety. New outdoor shopping centre next door. Quiet and really clean room. Nothing extravagant but very pleasant. Will stay again. Similar to Holiday Inn Express but better value and a little less fancy.

Would definitely stay again!

This was the first time I have stayed in a La Quinta and I'll definitely be back. I stayed here so I could air ship a puppy out of YVR early in the morning. I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't charge an extra fee for pets. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was better than average. The pool was quite cold so I didn't go in but my daughter enjoyed it. The hotel could use some updating but for the price I was very happy with it.

Very clean rooms and staffs were very kind

We stayed 5 times this hotel. Rooms were very clean. Also, Hotel staffs were likeable and kind. Breakfast staff helped me and fresh strawberry and blueberry sause with yogurt were very delicious!! It's my favorite!! I want to stay this hotel again.

Hotel close to eatery place.

Pros: location
Cons: Housekeeping job.
Overall is not bad. However, suspected they did not change the bed sheet etc. The bath tub and basin still have the hair from the previous guest. Other than that, everything is fine.
