There was this guy and all he did was clean

Seriously, the guy was washing the pool deck, vacuuming the lobby, washing the windows...every time I saw him he was cleaning a surface in the common areas. The pool and other common areas are small but very clean. It was so nice to see.
The room was clean. We were happy to be facing the parking lot, the opposite side of the hotel fronts a very busy street. Our kid had the pool to herself most of the time.
The room was dated but we weren't there to redecorate the place and we weren't looking for a home away from home, just somewhere to rest for a couple of days while we were out and about.
The hotel is in the middle of like 50-100 restaurants. Mostly Asian restaurants and if you want to get into the ones with the lineups (4 stars + on google find me) you have to make a reservation. It's also really close to a mall with lots of store. There is a much larger mall one skytrain stop away.
