Super friendly staff, fantastic location in the heart of downtown and close to bus and metro links. Good selection of eateries in the vicinity (all within walking distance) and close to the state art gallery and the VSO. Restaurant in the hotel is a bit corporate and completely devoid of life or atmosphere, so do yourself a favour, take a sort walk, there is life everywhere else.

The staff was very friendly & helpful. The hotel was clean & had a nice restaurant. The hotel was walkable for everywhere we wanted to go.

Really enjoyed the stay! The rooms were very clean and the beds real cozy! The staff was real helpful and friendly! In the morning we decided to check out the Diva restaurant downstairs and were pleasantly surprised - for our party of 5 it was very reasonably priced! We even got to use our $50CAD credit! Kids also enjoyed the pool! Would definitely stay there again!

The bed was amazing in the room I was in it felt like sleeping on a cloud, It was so soft thank you Stephanie hopefully I got her name correct she was amazing to me. The second room the bed was very hard and they didn't sleep well in it. When trying to go in the pool, it was very hard to get any blue towels.has there was none constantly every time you would want to go swimming. I also found some of the staff very friendly, and some that just had no interest in dealing with me. Part of me felt very welcome but part of me didn't. also, when it comes to the room service, they didn't have all the food options when get food, and then when it was hard to call down the first night there we went to the restaurant the night staff were awesome breakfast the next morning was awesome. She was fantastic. at dinner time later that day on Saturday was not very great. I did not know we needed renovations? It didn't feel that welcoming at that time the more than of leaving breakfast was good. I also find it hard to get extra towels when you have extra people in the room. it took me to go to three different people to finally get towels. my room was cold the first night because I did not know how to use the thermostat, but that was my own fault. Then I figured it out and it was great for having a warm room finally. I do hopefully try it again soon. The food prices were very reasonable, the mango cheesecake was delicious. But thank you for having me and my family there

This is just a fantastic hotel. The rooms are extremely well laid out and compfortable. The staff is welcoming and friendly and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the food is really good. I can't think of anything that would make it better. Outstanding!

We are Vancouverites but wanted to stay downtown as we were taking in a show at Queen Elizabeth Theatre. We frankly chose the Metropolitan for its location but was very pleasantly surprised to discover it is also very luxe and stylishly modern! The front desk staff was super attentive and welcoming and made sure we had a beautiful, quiet room on a high floor. All in all, would definitely recommend this hotel.

I was booked in for one night, but due to airline delays and then a cancellation, I didn't make it to Vancouver on the day I booked. So I didn't actually stay at the hotel, but the service and responsiveness from the hotel's staff as I was updating them in real time with my airline delays (Neal, Rahul and Justin) was absolutely perfect, I'll definitely stay here the next time I'm in Vancouver.

Nice hotel. Location is very convenient. Shopping center, restaurants, cafe, convention center, museums are all in walking distance. Entering and exiting of the underground parking is very narrow driveway, so you need to be very careful.
