Good Location. Spacious Rooms. Dated. Construction
Posted Feb 27, 2017
Location was great. Beds were dated, unpadded and crunchy. During our stay we were charged $40 a day to park and on our second night they informed is they were doing maintenance in the garage and wouldn't be able to remove our cars if needed, still charging us. The construction in the garage would start and end in the middle of the night walking us up to drilling through metal. Another person in our party called the front desk where they did not apologize, but told us the construction is going all night long. During this same stay, there was also a scheduled power outage that we weren't informed of until the night before. Not when we checked in. The staff was friendly, but I feel like management did not handle these inconveniences well. Paying for a hotel with a reputation such as the Metro, I had higher expectations.
