Boutique HotelPosted Oct 12, 2015
Good size rooms and very moden decor which fits well with this "old wordly" apearance. Good location. Dining options from casual to elegant all part of ground floor of building.

Perfect location- always great staff!Posted Oct 1, 2015
Pros: I like that its a small hotel- modern, clean and quiet. Beds are super comfy :)
Cons: More shelf space in the bathroom
Location: Super close to music venues, shops and places to eat or go for a drink. Transit is easy too!
We always stay at the Moda! The location is terrific and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff is consistent and super friendly.

Pros: Central location
Cons: Cotton sheets instead of polyester sheets.
Lovely staff. A heritage building.. the floor slants and the elevator did not work.

Excellent central location.Posted Sep 26, 2015
Pros: Excellent location
Cons: Only negative is parking. It can be difficult checking in as parking is limited in front of the hotel and no stopping allowed until after 9:30 a.m.
Location: Close to BC Place, Rogers Arena and within walking distance to Canada Place. Fly Over Canada is well worth seeing.
We stayed here for 1 night before travelling to Whistler. We found the hotel to be in an excellent location and we were able to walk everywhere in the downtown area. The desk staff were very helpful and assisted with our luggage etc. The hotel is located on a busy corner, but we had a good sleep and didn't notice the traffic noise at all. If you are planning to go see the Canucks or BC Lions play, this would be a great place to stay. It is just up the hill from both BC Place and Rogers Arena and within walking distance to both venues. We will definitely stay here again..

Stayed here for one night before leaving on a cruise. The room was clean quiet and comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to the city center and Gastown where there are plenty of good places to eat.

Centrally locatedPosted Sep 22, 2015
Pros: Convenient location and helpful staff.
Location: It's near everything except Stanley Park. We enjoyed exploring on foot.
We were pleased to find a friendly staff (loaned us umbrellas, scissors, wine screw, and other items we suddenly found a need for), great location (we walked almost everywhere) all at an affordable price. Unfortunately we did not find the time to dine in the attached highly rated restaurant, but did visit the wine bar to enjoy some great jazz. Although there are few amenities such as a pool and workout center it is a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay, within easy walking distance to most attractions. Highly recommended.
