Most staff is friendly but one person there doesn’t seem to like his job and is not what one would expect from someone at the front desk. Abrupt, doesn’t greet you and unfriendly. Find it strange that they ask if you want your room cleaned when spending multiple nights there.

Among the most comfortable beds and pillows we've slept on in our fairly extensive travels, and there's good food and shopping within walking distance. Would definitely return.

Considering extensive remodel of many units, my stay was pleasant & trouble free. Staff was very friendly & helpfull, room was nice, clean & love fridge & microwave. Location is great for all activities. Will stay here again

The breakfast service people were exceptional. The floors on the second floor squeaked quite a bit. Hopefully the remodeling going on will take care of that. I wish they banned people smoking in the hallways, as the smoke (cigarette and mariguana) penetrated into the room.

Property is named North Vancouver Hotel. This is a motel. Not very clean. There was a shot fired at this hotel - no apologies from this hotel. I asked for our money back but nothing full price. I know this is not their fault but very upsetting and scary for everyone. We had to stay until 2:30 am to give police statements and then checked out. That was when I was told no to a refund for this night. WOW no customer service. Continental breakfast is a joke. Pastry, toast, cereal. We were in Vancouver since and stayed at a beautiful hotel on the Pier and paid less also received a $25 breakfast credit and paid less than what we paid at the North Van Hotel - Again is a motel.

Very efficient and friendly staff. Room very clean. The bed was super comfortable. The exterior of the building could use some updating but they seem to be busy updating the interiors so it will probably be updated in the future.

This hotel is being renovated, and it is a good thing , room had obviously been cleaned, super strong cleaner smell, we had to air it out or choke, and carpet was stained, mattresses were worn out, towels were folded but dirty, cold water tap on sink did not work properly, no coffee or tea in room, looks good in pictures but really a dive, location is excellent for highway access, ferry, shopping but hotel us crap, only redeeming value was a very good included breakfast

I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and my stay here with my family. Wish the traffic noise outside the hotel was a little quieter, but I would stay here again. Location was easy drive to Stanley Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge and many restaurants were within walking distance.
