Nice hotel close to attractions

Posted Aug 17, 2016
Nice hotel close to capilano suspension bridge and Grouse Mountain. There was a complimentary breakfast voucher in my envelope with my card keys but I wasn't told about it. Would havd been nice to know it was in there as I would have used it. Great value and nice clean rooms.

Nice Hotel

Posted Aug 16, 2016
Pros: Room was very comfortable and clean.
Cons: Transportation to the cruise terminal and other places in downtown.
Location: Very close to Capilano Bridge and Grouse Mountain
Nice hotel, very clean, staff is very nice and friendly and helpful. A little far from downtown, but price was lower too. Breakfast was OK and free, Buffet like, Included pastries, fruits, ham and cheese and eggs, and bacon. Very easy access to public transportation. We got to Stanley Park in 10-15 minutes with the bus. It is farther from downtown than other hotels, which made things a little more complicated but at the end we liked it because is much more quiet and close to nature. We would definitely go back to that hotel.

Nice hotel - lovely room and great pool. Breakfast was also nice. Close to the Capilano Suspension Bridge - you can get a free shuttle bus to this outside the hotel. Easy to get to Grouse Mountain and Lynn Canyon Park.

Pros: food
Location: near bridge
Staff were responsive but not for relocating a disabled person fron the 2nd floor to a room at the ground floor.

I was so sad when we checked in. The photos on the website were so misleading. The rooms are very old, and between our intermittent functioning toilet, screeching shower, sloping room the first thing I did was check the bed bug registry as I was sure it would be a candidate (Its not). There was duct tape holding the floor together outside our door and the breakfast is not good, and is a mess to get into. They do not have sufficient facilities to accommodate the number of guests. I would really avoid this hotel. The location was close to Stanley Park and down town, but there are three other hotels on the same street.
