Short Get away

We were seeing a concert with a friend who had never been to Canada. No valet upon check in. How ever the gentlemen with the "Aussie " accent was very helpful. The ladies upon checking in were so-so I don't know if it's because we looked tired and weren't dressed up for this type of hotel. We had been in the car for 5 hours. We travel in comfortable clothing. Then check out again was so so. Overall I love the Hotel. We love the area.

Ok

It was ok. Broken vase and glass in hallway was a bit unfortunate but asides from that was a great stay and great people. We dIdnt get a chance to stop in lounge so can't comment on the food or drinks. Thanks for the stay

利便性の良いモダンなホテル

最寄のイエールタウン駅はスカイトレインで、空港から1本。駅から地上へ出ると目の前にホテルがあります。グランビルアイランドへ行くミニフェリーの乗り場にも近く、イングリッシュ・ベイへ行くバス停も目の前にあり、とても便利でした。 壁の色は赤でモダンな部屋でしたし、毎日綺麗に掃除されており、清潔感が感じられました。 また、口コミにあったような騒がしさは金土日と宿泊しましたが感じられませんでした。 私が泊まった部屋はやや狭く、バスタブがなかったところが残念でしたが、それを考慮してもまた泊まりたいホテルです。

Decent experience

For the most part I enjoyed this hotel...is it worth the expensive price? Maybe not so much. Before I ever booked the place I saw 'guaranteed late checkout' online from a couple of sources so that was the main reason I booked it. When we arrived we were told 'oh sure we do that for free if we can accommodate and we usually can'. This was of utmost importance as we had hours before having to arrive at the train station the following day. Upon day of checkout they said they could not let us check out late as there was a reservation for the room. I was very frustrated as we were given false hope and we had to walk around the city for 4 HOURS with our bags. Could they not have given the other party another room knowing my extreme dilemma? Or at least tell me the previous day that they couldn't? I don't understand. A couple of other minor issues were a rattly vent in the bathroom that absolutely got on my nerves as you could not make it stop. Also an alarm went off in another room early the next morning that was not shut off so literally went off for hours also driving me insane (I don't do noises). However the location was nice, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom/shower was great.

Very nice boutique hotel in the heart of Yaletown!

I've visited this hotel before. Due to my first impression I HAD to book it for my return visit. The standard room was not worth the cost, also not in the same luxury level of the suite. I asked to be upgraded and that it be one of the purple ones. They gladly did so, as well giving me early check in. The suites are fabulous! The room service is quick. The location is PERFECT! Not for the budget traveler by any means. If you appreciate luxury, great restaurants and shopping then this place is for you! :) Just make sure you bring your Sunday best wardrobe ;) Hamilton St. Mise we'll be a runway for high end fashion and imported cars.

Great stay, but power went out

One of the nights our power went out until morning. The next morning there was no hot water until late afternoon, so we couldn't take showers. This power outage was not the hotels fault, but they did not offer anything for the inconvenience.

Best Hotel in Vancouver

Pros: I liked Everything - from the welcome, to the room to the service. Full bar and snacks in room.
Cons: I couldn't quite figure out the remote control on the TV - I did not have my glasses on so it's probably just me!!
Location: Great location - Restaurants and shops all around. Subway across the street if needed. Taxi stand across the street so no wait for a Taxi.
The Opus Hotel in Vancouver is awesome. It's a 96 room boutique - Well appointed room and excellent bath. Seems like they've thougt of everything. Very comfortable bedding - Fireplace, Nice Bed Shower and Bath; Excellent scented Shampoo, Conditioner and Bath Gel - No small bottles - big in wall dispensers. The welcome Sparkling Water, Snacks and a typed welcome with MY name on it said immediately that they were glad I was their guest. A variety of restaurants close by; No wait for Taxis and Subway if needed right across the street. They have thought well about their decor and visitor experience. I would not stay anywhere else when returning to Vancouver.
