Great hotel before catching the ferry!Posted Sep 30, 2015
Checked in 30min early which was nice - since we were already in the area. Very clean. Professional and helpful staff. Location is nice and everything you would need is around you within walking distance Breakfast was nice and relaxed. Coffee and tea machine is open in the lobby 24/7 About a 45min drive to the ferry.

Don't botherPosted Sep 17, 2015
I CANNOT understand how this hotel has such high ratings. It is a mean, dirty place. The people who run it are OK but nothing special. The rooms are tiny and cramped. The heat/a/c isn't easy to use. The "free" breakfast is unremarkable. They're environmental practises are not good. Everything in the restaurant is plastic or paper. There is NO.reaon to stay here. The ratings online are suspiciously high. Please, don't bother.

Pros: Price, included breakfast, easy access from Trans Canada Hwy, covered parking for some. Security monitoring outside. Laundry facilities on each floor.
Cons: carpeting in the hallways is very worn and dirty, especially close to elevators. Ice machine didn't work on our floor.
Location: Access can be awkward if southbound on 200 St. Hotel entrance is at the south end of the Home Depot parking lot. Thank God for Google Streetview.
Reasonable hotel for the $, especially since it included breakfast. The AC in our room was wonky and cycled continuously, which was somewhat annoying. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Room was quiet, but somewhat smaller than I expected. TV has limited channels, would be nice to see more HD channels and selection. It would be worth an extra $5.00/night for that alone. Free wifi password was nowhere to be found in the room. Had to call front desk for it. Found the hotel directory behind the bedside table on the morning of the 3rd day. Unfortunate, as it has some wonderful suggestions for dining and ventures inside. Expedia said 50.00 security deposit. Turned out to be 100.00. Need update on hotel profile. We arrived late and our 'late arrival' guarantee was good as gold. Hotel was booked solid and we had the last room.

Terrible service and very unorganized check in.Posted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: Location, that is it!
We arrived with a full Lobby of People waiting for rooms to be cleaned and a guest trying to check out late. There was a couple that had been waiting for 1.5 hrs for their room to be cleaned. Another couple had returned to the Lobby for a second time, since the both rooms they were assigned to were still occupied. We had two rooms booked, when we were finally helped and given keys we went up and one of them were occupied by guests still. Our family had to wait another 45 minutes to get a room that was empty and clean. The front desk staff member was frazzled and couldn't say anything except sorry. The manager phoned in the middle of all of this and from what it sounded like had no words of encouragement or desire to help. He was NOT on site the whole weekend. Check out the following day was fast but upon arriving on the ferry to Vancouver Island my family realized that they had left there jacket in their room. We called the hotel and they said they had it but we would have to pick it up. We live on the Island and our family was visiting from Toronto! They said they wouldn't mail it, when asked if we could speak to the manager she said he wasn't there but would text him our number to call back, we didn't hear from her or the manager again. We called back and when the conversation got heated she hung up on us. My son who lives on the mainland has since picked up the jacket, but we who visit often will never stay there again or recommend to anyone. Horrible service

Good central location in LangleyPosted Sep 13, 2015
Cons: Carpets at the door of the elevator should be replaced.
Location: We had visiting to do in Maple Ridge and Abbotsford and this was a great central spot. Access to Maple Ridge over the Golden Ears Bridge was fast.
A bit tricky to find, off the Home Depot parking lot but quiet as a result. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed and the breakfast was good. The green space at the back of the hotel was nice to look at instead of roads. If you are doing things in the Fraser Valley this is a perfect spot to set off from and the price was reasonable.

Great location close to shopping and the highwayPosted Sep 5, 2015
We went to the PNE for a weekend, and stayed in the Quality Inn. It had a great location close to shopping; old navy, best buy, adidas. The beds were comfy, there was breakfast in the morning (they have a waffle maker!) and a washer and dryer on the 4th floor. We got stuck in the giant wind storm that weekend so it was very convenient to be able to dry our clothes. (Price:$2.50). The staff seemed helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Most things, but especially the shower head!
Cons: replace some carpeting.
Most things about this stay were acceptable. We did not book for luxury. But I found some items like carpeting a bit beyond where I expected them to be for wear and tear. The air conditioning was quite loud and that seems to be par for the course as well. The lack of regular size pillows also left us sleeping less but we are troubled sleepers anyway.
