Reasonable hotel

Posted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: Convenient location. Comfortable bed, quietness, good breakfast.
Cons: It needs more refurbishing
Hotel is next to the very nice Minoru Parks. While the hotel is very plain, it is clean with a good continental breakfast. Convenient location within walking distance of skytrain to downtown Vancouver. It is also near the airport with shuttle service to the airport.

Excellent park right behind the hotel

Posted Aug 17, 2015
They had all kinds of brochures about downtown. It was a few blocks to the subway. We found a great restaurant about a block away called Harold's. We were not expecting the Taj Mahal, just something clean and close to the airport?

Do not book at this hotel

Posted Aug 11, 2015
So the location is close to the airport which was great. When we arrived the reservation was cancelled because of a credit card issue. The hotel said they could not call me directly so they were calling Expedia and not able to fix the issue. We ended up in a small dingy room on the main floor, smeller terrible and was so dirty definitely not worth the $$$$$$ I paid. Expedia should be aware that their clients are generally treated unfairly and are being put in the worst rooms of hotels. Makes one think twice before booking through Expedia. Pay more and get your money's worth.

No TV, no WiFI working

Posted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: Staff was wonderful and very helpful.
Cons: Update the rooms. The lobby needs a major overhaul.
Location: Great location - downtown Richmond. Walk to shopping mall and restaurants. About 10 minutes from airport.
Very disappointing to check in at midnight after a long flight, only to find that the TV cable and WiFi services are not working. WiFi worked only in the lobby. I checked out the next day. Staff was very gracious and totally understood.

It is a nice place to stay.

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: I liked the staff, they lady that hosted the breakfast area was really really great! (on July 11-12, 2015)
Cons: The rooms had a few kinks, like some of plugs in the room didn't work, but the washrooms were very clean and the bed was ok to sleep on comfortably.
Location: The location is great if you are into exploring a strong Asian community and want easy access to the Richmond Night Market.
The Ramada Inn in Richmond is a nice place to stay. The staff is friendly.

Past its prime

Posted Jul 9, 2015
Pros: Price and location
Cons: Carpets need to be changed out and the rooms cleaned to remove musty old smoke smell
Location: Located relatively close to ferry terminal - did not go there for the activities
Returning from Europe needed a place to overnight before catching the ferry back to Vancouver Island. Selected this hotel based on price and location only. Staff were pleasant and accommodating but the hotel definitely has seen better days. Bathrooms have been updated and are clean. Hotel and room still have carpet from the 80s. Room smelt of old smoke. Working free internet was a pro - did not stay for the complimentary breakfast.

Overnighting for flight

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: More and better coffee in the room.
Location: It's about $15 CAD by taxi to the airport. There's an Irish pub and restaurant across the street and other restaurants and a mall nearby.
Fairly standard hotel on a main drag. The A/C works well and the room is generally clean though the windows were dirty. It's better than other Ramadas I've stayed in.

Good location

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Staff was excellent, being friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate with the breakfast lady exceptional.
Cons: Update the furnishings. Chair in our room was thread bare. Top cover on bed was lumpy. Carpet in hallway need replaced.
Location: Good location, convenient to Steveston and Vancouver.
The hotel is located on a major street in the business district. It was easy to get to from the airport. Located on a major street made it easy to get to Steveston and Vancouver. While the hotel was clean and comfortable, it needs some renovation and updating.

Convenient and affordable

Posted Jul 5, 2015
Location: Several good restaurants next door.
Tired public are with soiled carpets in the hallways....but wait, open the door to the room and discover comfort. Spotlessly clean, great bed, very quiet even in a front room overlooking the street, perfect for a night before a trip. Good shuttle service. Good breakfast with fresh scrambled eggs.
