My room had a balcony but the view was the garbage area. If they specific it before, I would have never pick that room.

The property was conveniently located downtown. Accessible by foot to dining, drugstore and groceries. 5 mins walk to Sunset Beach area to access pathway along the shore. It takes you directly to Stanley Park. Property is well kept. Maintenance was being done on elevators during our stay but they were on top of their communications.

The property and room was great. However, Sonder neglected to contact me in advance of my stay to let me know that they downgraded my booking from a Superior Room to a 1 Bedroom Apartment (main difference being a Queen bed instead of a King bed). I noticed this after checking in to my room and thinking the bed appeared tiny. After contacting them they had no other Superior rooms available and told me it’s because the room I had booked was because the room required “pest control and maintenance.” I asked for further clarification and they said “ Pest control making sure that room is free of bugs/insects, if there's any. As we need to make sure that rooms are free of bugs or insects.” So do what you want with that information. I requested they provide a refund for the difference in room costs but was provided no other compensation. I feel like Sonder should’ve notified me in advance, provided additional compensation for not doing so, and give the option for me to be able to find alternative accommodation that would’ve better suited our needs in advance. Rather than just hoping we could wouldn't notice their change to our itinerary.

This was one of the best properties I’ve ever booked on Expedia. I can’t wait to come back and stay here! Great neighborhood, easy check in and out process, paid for parking and was seamless. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Really nice apartment in an AMAZING area but our floors were freaking STICKY and when we swept the floors just in case upon arrival, we ended up with a big clump of dust and hairs so the apartment was poorly cleaned before our arrival. Communication via app was great. $25/day parking is ridiculous - just park on the street, free 10pm-9am. Quiet aparthotel located very closely to English Bay Beach/Sunset Beach, dining options, and shopping.

Cool option if you want to try out ‘living’ in a city for a bit. Private apartments set up as a hotel stay, which makes for a unique experience in the city you visit.

We chose this property because of its close proximity to St Paul’s hospital as we had to be there for a morning appointment. It’s perfect. It’s just a quick walk. We are very pleased with the unit. It’s clean, well stocked and was easy to check in and access.

The property exceeded my expectations. It was a lovely suite. I would definitely stay there again. Very clean, convenient, with all that you need for a great stay. Bed was heavenly. Only complaint I would have is the elevator and fifth floor hallway carpet was a little dirty and needed vacuuming. Otherwise everything was perfect. Lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was lovely. Great experience.

This was my favorite spot to stay in Vancouver . It had everything we needed (luggage storage, shampoo, coffee), in a great location and was spacious. The Sonder team was easy to communicate with and answered all my questions.

For an online only hotel, it's very seamless and easy. The rooms are a little old. Basic renovation (if any) of prior apartments. Walls were paper thin and can hear anything in the hall way. Mattress was comfortable. Nice to have a kitchen, although it had bare minimum kitchen utensils. Not a bad stay but not my favourite

I do enjoy Sonder as an option to stay when I travel. This time, however, it was a lot of stress to get them to confirm my stay, which was only done 3 hours prior to check-in due to some issues between Expedia and Sonder; while the agents were helpful, I would recommend to make sure you review everything before you travel. Beyond that great location, the stay was smooth!

Only 2 things I would change are to offer different firmness of pillows. They were not comfortable to use between my knees. The toilet paper offered was very low quality compared to every other hotel I have ever stayed at. Reminded me of the paper they use on BC ferries. Other than that was very enjoyable.
