Excellent classic hotel in downtown Vancouver!

Posted May 22, 2017
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Bill Reid Gallery; Canada Place; Gastown; Chinatown; Hop-on, Hop-Off buses; tours to everything nearby!
We've stayed at the St. Regis Hotel twice and will definitely return on our next visit to Vancouver. The hotel is situated downtown and is within easy walking distance of Canada Place, Gastown, Chinatown, and several transit locations. The hotel is very well maintained, with clean rooms, classic furniture, and a great restaurant/bar attached. The staff at the front desk are friendly & helpful, providing directions, arranging tours, and making sure that your stay is comfortable and pleasant. When we checked in to our room we found the following handwritten note from the housekeeping staff: "Welcome, Mr. & Mrs. _____. If I can be of service, please call. Thank you for staying with us. Safe travels." You can tell that high quality customer service is a core value. The hotel includes a made to order breakfast which is exceptional. We had to leave fairly early for our flight on Saturday morning. The hotel staff arranged for a taxi & made sure that we had food to go since we missed their breakfast. If you want to stay downtown in an excellent hotel, we highly recommend that you consider the St. Regis Hotel!

Nice place

Posted May 19, 2017
Pros: Location and professionalism of the staff.
Cons: Quality of the breakfast offerings
Location: Stanley Park, Galleries, shopping, eating
Great staff, very helpful and friendly. Good location. Vancouver is a very walkable city and I did walk a lot. Took the bus to Stanley Park - only about a 10 minute ride - but walked to many other locations. Thankfully, weather pretty much cooperated while I was there, but the front desk offers umbrellas if you need one. Only complaint might be the complimentary breakfast. Toast and waffles were not hot. I did not have the eggs but my companions said they were pretty good. Basically, the breakfast offerings were not up to the same caliber as the rest of the hotel, but I'd consider that a pretty minor complaint.

Nice hotel but could be better

Great front desk. Bed too small. Housekeeper forgot to refill our body wash 3 days in a roll. Due to limited stuff, their room cleaning process is slow. Noisy at night because they have only 5 floors. But overall, it's okay

Pros: The hotel staff were so lovely and the style of the hotel is really clean and modern.
Cons: Nothing in my opinion!
Location: The location of the hotel is brilliant, it is really within walking distance of everything downtown!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the St. Regis Hotel when I came to Vancouver last month. The hotel staff are so helpful and friendly, the room itself was really lovely, always immaculate! I had a wonderful stay here and would absolutely stay here again the next time I am lucky enough to visit Vancouver!

Central to the downtown

We splurged on a 2-night stay in downtown Vancouver. Expensive, but it came with a good breakfast and beautiful room with king bed, robes, L'Occitane toiletries, blackout curtains, and good soundproofing. Staff were super friendly and very accommodating for our bikes. We arrived on bikes with panniers and they immediately offered us free secure storage for both of them.
