Very Nice Hotel

Warmly greeted by the hotel valet and concierge when we pulled in out front. Walking into the hotel I loved the fragrances! We were offered an upgraded room for nominal cost, which was well worth it. I felt the exercise room left a bit to be desired, but it was adequate. Room was very nice; spacious, great view of the harbor and comfortable beds. Bathroom was nice with upgraded features, but a bit tight/small. And I noticed the room near the sliders was not as clean as it should have been, have your staff vacuum more thoroughly. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would come back again for sure!

Great Location!

Had a great stay here. In town for a course, and the hotel was so convenient. Close to the course, close to restaurants, and close to a beautiful walk on the seawall. Even the Pacific Center was only a 15 min walk away. Would stay here again for sure!

Good but

Pros: The facilities and location are great
Cons: Staff should listed during the check-in process. Although I presented my spg membership card, it was just ignored.
I'm member of the spg programme. I was disappointed that the staff didn't recognise my status due to the fact that my reservation was through a third party - Expedia in this case.

a great place for an overnight getaway

Pros: The staff were very attentive and the locale was great.
Cons: Free wireless in the rooms
Location: It is close to Stanley Park and to the shopping district in Downtown Vancouver.
We booked it online and arrived slightly before the 4PM checkin so we enjoyed the ambience and comfortable chairs in the large lobby. We were upgraded to a junior suite (235) which was spacious and overlooked the Vancouver harbor and north Shore mountains. Breakfast was included and it was plentiful and tasty with a variety of items to choose from. We woke up to a dusting of snow and enjoyed a late checkout being a Sunday so the roads had been cleared.

Very clean and staff is enjoyable

Wifi is not free ( about 15$) and could not get my device to connect. The Vida Spa is very nice, quite and relaxing. The location is literally a 10 minute walk to Stanly park, however, it is a bit remote for city amenities and access.

Beautiful location with water views

Pros: Great location, comfortable room, great food, very nice staff.
Cons: TV reception was spotty at times [but I was not in the room watching TV much.]
Location: Easy walk to the ethnic foods on Denman street, the excellent waterfront restaurant Carderos, and in good weather, an easy walk to Stanley Park.
I stayed in a water view room overlooking Coal harbour, the leisure boats, entrance to Stanley park and distant mountains of North Vancouver. Well worth the extra price! Bed was very comfortable with light and cozy duvet, lots of comfortable pillow. Desk with plenty of space to work on my conference presentation. The Seawall restaurant also has lovely water views, nice staff, and plenty of meals to choose from. I enjoyed the Okanagan valley white wines. Everything works well in the bathroom.

Good hotel, great location, but too expensive

Stayed at the Westin Bayshore for 4 nights as a part of a conference being held there. Pros: The location of the property was great, with the bay and stanley park being very close, the hotel gym and indoor pool was great and the food was good. Cons: The price was very high compared to other hotels in the area of similar caliber. Wifi was not free in the room, which is ridiculous in this day and age. The room was ok, but not great, the room lighting was not good and there were very few outlets I could find near the beds to charge my phone/ laptop. In summary, I probably wouldn't pay the same price for this hotel again, and would prefer one of the other nearby properties which were more value for money.

Amazing location

Right from the start with the bellman this hotel was very accommodating. Very high end with bed, sheets, pillows, and love their robes, more so at a fair rate. My only comment is their breakfast buffet that I choose in the package. When seeing what they have I couldn't imagine paying 58 for 2 .it seemed a bit sparse.
