Location: not much to do nearby, need a car
great hotel, need a car, too far to walk anywhere, parking is a rip off, park on the street. get the room with the breakfast.

The shuttle service was a little late. Check in and staff were great. Room was very clean and the beds very comfortable.

Fair price for top hotel experience

Cons: The neighborhood isn't scenic, but if you're not looking for that it's fine.
Location: Very close to train and to airport.
I've stayed at this hotel twice and had great experiences. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, close to airport with frequent free shuttles. During the second stay I tried the club level. The increase in price was balanced by the early evening appetizers which frankly were enough to be a meal, and the complementary breakfast.

Location: My husband was a small plane pilot and loves watching planes coming and going. We had an excellent room for him to do just that.
We had a beautiful corner room with a very comfortable king size bed. Lots of room for our 2 year old grandson to visit and play.

Hotel overbooked. Was kicked to another hotel.

Cons: Please train the receptionists!
My friends and I spent the weekend in Vancouver for a high school reunion. They checked in around 7 pm and I asked my friends to notify the reception desk that I would be checking in after midnight. They did. Guess what? Upon arrival at the hotel around 1 am, I was told that my room had been given to another guest. Note that 100% of my room had already been paid for through Expedia. Could they do that?! The receptionist was not apologetic at all. The most offensive thing was that he said "by no means we are discriminating you." Hmmm... I never mentioned the "D" word at all (I'm Asian) but instead he did! Interesting! I was really shocked to have experienced this at a Westin! WOW!

a disappointing stay

Cons: restaurant!!
Location: awkward to find! great coming form the airport but getting there form anywhere else not so much!
getting lost finding the hotel, down several back streets. extra charges everywhere internet/parking no prior warning, restaurant was extremely disappointing- no wonder so many people walked in looked at the menu and left. pool and fitness centre were a trek and in honesty kind of rubbish for the amount paid and poorly designed. bathroom design was rubbish (I kicked my foot on the shower area several times. it was however close to where I needed to be and that I why I booked it!!!

Nice hotel close to the airport. Restaurant is small and there is not much within walking distance. The pool and fitness area are open 24hrs and are on the 5th floor overlooking a dock.
