Basic hotel room. Don't expect much more.

Posted Feb 6, 2016
Pros: price was cheapest I could find.
Cons: probably knocking the building down and starting over.
Location: location is excellent.
This place is dark and dingy. I only stayed one night before heading up to Whistler. The room uses and ancient heating system, the shower is all original from the 70's or 80's. I woud recommend looking around at other options before staying here again.

Good stay just outside downtown Vancouver

Posted Feb 5, 2016
Good little motel/hotel to stay at. It is close to a great restaurant in Earls and a few breakfast spots. Good place to stay on your way back from Whistler or on your way up if you want to break up your travel. Nothing fancy about the rooms but I found the bed very comfortable so you would get a good sleep here. Close enough to downtown Vancouver, bus just outside the door if you are not driving. Especially in the winter months, air is fresh and crisp.

It's one of those hotels you'll stay only if you want to save some money. Some parts of the room we're broken. But there is always free wifi and everyday they leave you complimentary coffee, which we adored.

Disapponted Customer

Posted Jan 26, 2016
Pros: The Staff.
Cons: Shut the hotel down until it is completely renovated. Especially mould issue in bathrooms.
The TV wasn't working properly. Finally got one from the staff 2 days before I left There was mould in the bathroom. Due to a filming in front of my original room, had to relocate to 2nd floor which annoyed me, given my victim pedestrian accident and pain. Cleanliness, disappointed, not up to other Travelodge hotels I have stayed in or my standards. The price was the best found in the area. Only reason I stayed there. The staff was awesome, always helpful, maintenance was great too. J. O'Brien

Good location

Posted Jan 25, 2016
Good to stay if you just need a room and a bed. Bed squeaks but it didn't bother me. Staff was friendly and the location was close to downtown. Can't beat the price either.

convenient but moldy

Posted Jan 20, 2016
Pros: beds comfortable
Cons: cleaner facility/rooms
Location: close to the BC ferries
location is conveniently close to the ferry if you live on the Sunshine coast and need a place to stay for the night. Beds were comfortable but we found mold in the bathroom and other areas! felt unclean. staff were friendly enough though. wouldn't stay here again, sorry

Hotel needs updates

Posted Jan 19, 2016
Unfortunately, this time when I stayed I did notice mold by the bathtub and then I was moved to a different room due to a leak. The staff is quick to fix problems and they did upgrade my room. The hotel is old and needs upgrades, but the staff is friendly, polite and always willing to go out of their way to fix a problem. I would stay here again.

One night stop over

Posted Jan 18, 2016
The bed was comfortable. No fridge, which was disappointing. Only found one hair that didn't belong to me...
