EXCELLENT HOTEL

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed, the staff was exceptional and very accommodating and pleasant, I will recommend this hotel to EVERYONE. The hotel inside of the airport really worked for my family and I.

My+wife+became+ill+on+a+cruise+and+we+spent+the+night+at+Fairmont-Vancouver%2FAirport.++The+staff+found+us+a+wheelchair+and+gave+us+a+golf-cart+ride+for+the+mile+to+our+flight+gate+the+next+morning.++We+couldn%27t+have+made+it+without+their+help.

Very+nice+experience+with+this+place%2C++conveniently+located+inside+an+airport+so+no+shuttle+service+is+needed.++Staff+was+amazingly+helpful+and+very+accommodating.+Room+were+okay.+It%27s+little+pricey+though.+

Can't beat the location

Pros: Convenience and cleanliness
After a long day of flying it was a blessing to have such a lovely hotel to rest at. The staff in the terminal at the base of the escalators were welcoming Room was very nice and surprisingly quiet. The only trouble we had was with the a/c as it didn't seem to consistently cool but it wasn't worth calling maitenenace at 11 pm Dining area is lovely but the prices are pretty high I would stay here again

Mostly good

Pros: Great great, quiet and comfortable.
Cons: Stop charging for wifi.
Location: Close to airline check-in counters
Perfect location for a flight out the next morning. Quick check-in with helpful staff. Nice room; very clean. Some of the buttons on the universal remote control for the room did not work though. My only real beef is the extra charge for wifi, and that the airport's free wifi is blocked in the hotel so that you are obliged to pay for the hotel's wifi. Lower priced hotel chains do not charge for theirs. Why must these high-end hotels nickel-and-dime their customers? It's insulting.

Great location at the airport!

The location was better than I thought when I made the reservation. We arrived on a late flight into Vancouver International & were surprised that we didn't have to even leave the terminal or take a shuttle. Staff was extremely friendly & helpful. Room was really comfortable. The gym there was one the nicer hotel gyms that I have seen. Definitely would stay there again.

It is just getting old.

Pros: The convenience of getting off the plane after a long flight.
Cons: New beds and redo the grout in the bathroom.
I've stayed at this hotel at least once a year for the last ten years. It is time for some up keep. My two biggest complaints are the bathrooms need to be redone and the beds are old. I've noticed that in spite of the prices going up the quality is going down. The grout around the tiles and the bathtub is cracked and breaking off. And the bed is old and saggy. It use to be a treat ending a long flight here, but the last two times I've felt I must of been put in the oldest worn out room.

Dogs Welcome

We have a dog, and a long commute from the island to YVR so we decided to choose the Fairmont to lightened our load. There was plenty of space for our dog to walk outside the hotel in a very large garden area while all amenities were excellent.

Offered a room upgrade when we arrived and we couldn't have made a better decision to take it. The room was clean, quiet and a perfect way to end a busy day of travel.

Very convenient for flights

I was met by member of staff after a short walk through the airport, i checked in late as my flight had been delayed. the staff ouldnt do enough to help. i was dropped of next by the courtesy bus at the seaplane jetty.
