Great view of mountain from room, close to transit

Happy with hotel staff and room condition. Definitely would come back if given the chance, loved the shuttle option from the hotel to airport

Stay out of room 205

It's a great hotel with matching staff, unless you get room 205. The hotel was fully booked and I got tn early last room, 205. Unfortunately it's located next to a ventilation machine room and every 8 minutes machines cycle on for 30 seconds. Very loud and noticeable vibrations make for a room you should refuse to stay in. I was refunded my room price.

Clean and Comfort Hotel but Bad breakfast

Room is big enough and clean, but the breakfast is too bad. Do not have many choices and taste good. The staff told us the breakfast time is 6:00am-10:00am, but the staff do not refill the sausages and bread and milk at 9:00am, and staff take back all the breakfast at 9:15am, the breakfast's time still have 45 mins left . At that time, some customers, including my friend and me, are still working on our breakfast.

Good price and comfortable room. Good location.

Pros: We liked the comfortable beds, the breakfast was good, and it was fun to have a pool and jacuzzi. We enjoyed it all.
Cons: Make sure to have the shuttle service have longer hours for people like us who arrived later at night, but not past midnight. We counted on that.
Location: The location is near the airport, which is very convenient. We heard the planes flying overhead while we were sleeping, but it wasn't too bothersome.
We liked the comfortable beds, the buffet breakfast, and the cute pool and jacuzzi. Big enough for our family of 4 to enjoy. Weight room was fun for my husband and sons to use together. I liked that the floor in the bathroom was not cold, the room was clean, and the towels were soft. Good location for us coming from the airport. The only thing we didn't like was that the shuttle service had stopped at 9:30 p.m., so when we called the hotel from the airport, the front desk person told us there was no shuttle and we needed to take a taxi. That was a bit disappointing.

Bed bugs

Stay on Sept 30-Oct 1We found bed bugs in our beds, asked to move to another room but none available. They just change the sheets. Restless night after a long day touring Vancouver and come back to more restless night with the bed bugs! The staff told us it in season now. What the heck? They should fumagate the room if they know it's this bad! They discounted 50% off my room charge but I said it should be 100% because of my restless sleep every night. I hope they will do that.

After receiving your comments, we brought in a pest control agency to inspect your room and the surrounding area. They found no evidence of activity, nor have we experienced activity in the past. Nice, clean hotel, staff friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was average; bacon/sausage changed for hot dog wieners, not a good choice. Basically inedible. Very busy and overcrowded breakfast time, had to wait for seating and navigate some rude and pushy guests. Otherwise ok. Small but clean pool area. Very loud due to proximity to airport. I asked for a room away from airport and was assured of the change but got the "loud" side anyway. Door keys didn't work, was locked out for a while, hotel discounted room. Aside from that, stay was average.

Cons: Breakfast needs to be revamped. Due to heavy guest traffic each morning it was hard to access breakfast counter and for staff to keep stocked.
Location: Location is close to food, transportation and shopping. Great area for good Asian food.
Room and establishment was clean and quite. Daily breakfast was below expectations and was disappointing from previous establishments we have stayed in.

Premium price, mediocre Hotel

Pros: Very comfortable beds
Cons: Don't cheap out on the small stuff. Have enough staff to keep your guests happy.
Location: Good central location in Richmond
I can't include the price in the review for some reason, but it wasn't cheap. For that, you should expect a certain level of quality and service. The building is nice, but the carpets are dirty and tired. Our shower faucet was broken and we couldn't get hot water. The glasses and cups in the room were cheap plastic. At breakfast, the plates were dollar store foam specials. The shuttle bus to the airport was broken down or they didn't have a driver. On the plus side, the hotel clerk set up a free taxi ride for us. The hotel clerk was very knowledgeable and helpful, however, I couldn't help but notice he was the only one working, and he was there when we checked in at 9:30 pm and still there in the morning at 8:30 am! It might be hard to keep good staff with those hours! Seems like the owners/management are pinching pennies and that's their choice, but I will book elsewhere next time.

Our Airport Shuttle was undergoing maintenance and when that happens we pay for our guests taxi. We always have a minimum of two staff at the Front Desk. The staff you obversed from the day before was on the afternoon shift and the next day was on the morning shift. I have asked maintenance to review the shower in your room immediately. We are undergoing renovations this Fall. Rest assured your comments will be shared with our team, and it’s through comments such as yours that we’re able to improve. Thank you for your feedback.

Nice stay but only Asian restaurants nearby.

Cons: Nothing
Location: Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese restaurants plus a McDonald's the only restaurants to walk to.
Good shuttle to and from airport. Great service and very clean neighborhood.
