Short stay over night after flight from Australia Average area to stay bit dirty and a few not so dodgy people around

Weekend stay

I booked the Ramada based on the affordable rates and breakfast included. I thought it was close to the skytrain station but it is a 10-15 minute walk away. The staff were great, the room clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was basic and I liked that they had enough seats. I really appreciated the free airport shuttle. This was a good hotel. My only concern was the distance from the skytrain, mall, and restaurants. It's all good if you enjoy the walk.

Excellent Vancouver Airport hotel

Pros: Very comfortable, quiet Excellent front desk assistance; available 24 hrs day
Location: Richmond Mall; walking park behind hotel; walking distance to the city rail service
Very conveniently located from the Vancouver Port to the city rail service to Richmond; walk to hotel. Richmond Mall within blocks. Park and lake behind hotel.

Close to International airport with shuttle servic

Tired decor and difficult to use room keys which staff could not care less about. Nice clean room with very comfortable bedding.

Twice shy

This is the second time in two weeks that I have stayed here and I will not come back. The building is tattered and tired looking. The gentleman at reception talked on the phone while I stood and waited for him. When he did get off the phone he handed me my key and parking pass. No welcome, no thank you. The room was fine. Clean but dated. The breakfast room was dirty and tattered. The vinyl on the chairs was missing on some and the floor was dirty. I question some of the food handling standards. The milk is out on the counter and you have to reach into a bag with your hands to pull out an English muffin. There is only one hot choice of breakfast per day. There is a bare minimum of choices (peanut butter, one jam, one coffee, one bread, etc.) Parking was good.

Horrible customer service and unsafe

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Customer service.
We had a drunk couple next to use breaking that room up and screaming from 11:00pm to 5:00am. We called 3 times to the front desk for assistance and not once did security come to the room. Instead we could hear them calling over to the room to let them know we were complaining. We felt so uncomfortable and unsafe in this hotel and the staff did nothing to help accommodate us. 0/10

Affordable and close to airport

Pros: The proximity to the airport and restaurants
Location: We checked in late and left early so we really didn't take advantage of any amenities.
We needed a hotel close to the airport as we had an early departure the following morning. The hotel was clean, pleasant and suited our needs.
